Seattle Independent Contractor Protections Ordinance

2 min de lecture

Starting on September 1, a new Seattle law requires DoorDash to provide Dashers earning in Seattle with a pre-contract disclosure describing the services you provide and applicable terms and conditions. The law also requires DoorDash to provide Dashers working in Seattle with disclosures detailing payments.

Please also review your Notice of Rights related to Dashing in Seattle here.

How it works:

Receive your pre-contract disclosure before you start dashing

  1. When you sign up to Dash within the City of Seattle, you will receive a pre-contract disclosure.

  2. If you are a Dasher dashing in Seattle, you will receive a pre-contract disclosure.

Receive a pay disclosure every week that you earn

  1. If you picked up or delivered an order within the City of Seattle, you will receive a pay disclosure.
