A new way for top shoppers to dash. Earn an extra $25 on every Personal Shopper order. Customers who choose you.

Why you’re getting this

You’re one of the highest-rated Shoppers in your market. When customers were asked “would you want this Dasher to shop for you again?” on their recent grocery orders, they said yes consistently.

That feedback is the reason you’ve been included. We’re launching a pilot program where those customers can book orders with you directly, and you’ve been automatically enrolled based on your record. There’s nothing you need to do to join – you’re already in. Participation is fully up to you: you decide whether to submit a weekly schedule, and you can opt out anytime.

What the program is

Personal Shopper pairs you with specific customers for scheduled grocery deliveries. Each week, you tell us when you’re available. Customers who favorited you can book those slots for the coming week. When they place an order, they can schedule it ahead with you. No competing with other Dashers. It’s already yours.

A new part of your Dash. You keep taking other offers, dash whatever other times you want, and accept or decline like you do today. Personal Shopper just adds scheduled hours you’ve committed to.

What you get :

An extra $25 on every Personal Shopper order. You earn an additional $25 reward on top of your standard pay for every completed Personal Shopper order. Your regular grocery delivery pay and customer tips work exactly the same as a standard grocery order – the $25 is added on top of all of that.

How the reward is paid. The $25 reward is not displayed on the offer screen at the time you accept. During this pilot, the offer screen will show your standard pay only. The reward is paid out separately as a single bulk amount at the end of each week, on top of your normal earnings. Each week, you’ll receive a confirmation showing how many Personal Shopper orders you completed and the total reward paid.

Predictable hours. You set your schedule. You know when you’re working and why.

Recognition. This program exists because of customer feedback. You’re here because customers asked for you.

How it works week to week

  • Friday: you can share your availability for the following week through a short form.

  • Sunday: we’ll send a reminder to submit your schedule for the coming week.

When a customer orders in one of your slots: you get a push right away with the order details, even if the delivery isn’t for a couple of days. That order is yours when the time comes. Dash normally in the meantime.

Closer to delivery: a reminder push goes out, then the offer opens in your Dasher app about 15 minutes before the shift starts. Accept it by navigating to your schedule and going to the Offers tab, shop the order, deliver it. Note: the $25 reward is not displayed on the offer screen – it’s paid out separately each week as described above.

If something changes: update your availability before customers book the slot. If something comes up mid-week, you can submit an updated schedule.

End of each week: the $25 reward for every Personal Shopper order you completed that week is paid out as a single bulk amount.

What customers want

These customers requested you specifically. Here are some tips to maintain high shopping quality and customer satisfaction:

  • Be available to fulfill your Personal Shopper orders

  • Shop with care. Read item notes. Pick the best available product. Treat perishables and fragile items like you’d want yours treated.

  • Communicate clearly. If something’s out of stock, message the customer and confirm a substitution before swapping. Same for anything that needs their input.

What to do now

Nothing is required to be enrolled – you already are. To actually start receiving Personal Shopper orders, watch for our Friday message asking for your weekly availability and submit your hours by Sunday 10PM EST. Customers can then book your scheduled slots for the following week. You can do this every week, some weeks, or never – it’s up to you.

Optional: add a photo to your Dasher profile. If you choose to upload one, it may be shown to customers in the DoorDash app when they go to schedule an order with you. Adding a photo is voluntary, doesn’t affect your eligibility for Personal Shopper or any other orders, and to update or remove the photo, please email [email protected]

Terms and Conditions: The Personal Shopper pilot program is available only to select Dashers who received this communication directly from DoorDash. Participation is optional. The pilot is available only in select U.S. markets from June 1, 2026 through July 13, 2026, unless modified or ended earlier by DoorDash. Participating Dashers may choose to share anticipated availability windows through the designated form for potential Personal Shopper order opportunities. Sharing availability does not guarantee delivery opportunities, order volume, or earnings. Eligible Dashers who complete qualifying Personal Shopper orders during the pilot period will receive an additional $25 reward per completed qualifying order. Reward payments will be issued separately as a weekly payout within 7 days after order completion. DoorDash reserves the right to modify, pause, or end the pilot program or these terms at any time. DoorDash reserves the right to withhold or deduct payments that we determine or believe were in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of the Dasher ICA terms or these terms.
