What is the Packages tab in my Orders?

The Packages tab in your Orders page shows if it's available in your area. The tab shows deliveries that are being sent to you from retailers for orders you placed outside of the DoorDash app (for example: Best Buy, Staples, H&M, and more). If a retailer sends your order using a delivery service powered by DoorDash, you’ll be able to track your package in real-time, view delivery updates, and communicate with your delivery Driver directly if needed. You can find the Packages tab in the Orders section of the DoorDash app.

What can I do in the Packages tab?

When a retailer sends an order to you using a delivery service powered by DoorDash, the delivery will appear in the Packages tab, where you can:

  • Track your delivery in real time

  • View delivery status updates

  • See estimated delivery times

  • Contact your Driver if there are delivery questions

  • View details about your delivery

This helps you stay updated on your delivery from the moment it’s picked up until it arrives at your door.

What is the Packages tab, and how is it different from DoorDash orders?

Your orders placed directly through retailer sites (such as Best Buy, H&M, and more) will appear within both the Packages and the All tab if they're available in your area. Orders appear in the Packages tab when they are sent to you as a delivery from a retailer rather than a standard DoorDash order placed in the app. These deliveries may come from retailers that partner with DoorDash to deliver products directly to customers. 

What if I made an order with a retailer, but I can’t see my shipment in the Packages tab?

If you placed an order with a retailer but don’t see it in the Packages tab:

  • Your shipment may not have been picked up yet.

  • The order may not always be fulfilled through a delivery service powered by DoorDash. To confirm which courier service is being used, please contact your retailer’s customer service directly with your order number. 

If you need help with the order itself, please contact the retailer you purchased from.

What if I ordered multiple items from the same retailer, but I am not seeing all of my items?

If you ordered multiple items from a retailer, it’s possible that your items may arrive in separate deliveries. Retailers often split orders based on item availability, fulfillment location, or delivery timing. However, please note that deliveries powered by DoorDash will only track one package in our Packages tab, even if there are multiple deliveries from the same order. If you have any additional questions, please contact your retailer directly.

Why am I seeing a shipment that isn’t mine in the Packages tab?

If you see a delivery in your Packages tab that does not belong to you or is delivered to you, please inform DoorDash using the Customer Support line (1-855-431-0459) that the order is not intended for you.
