Shop & Deliver: DoorDash Grocery & Convenience Store Orders

Why did my order not have all the items I ordered? 

Convenience and Grocery stores sometimes have their famous items go out of stock. In those cases, we will automatically refund your card on the items we weren’t able to fulfill. Please check your email for the updated charges and refunds. 

Why is my order taking so long to confirm once I place an order? 

Since Shop & Deliver orders require us to match a Dasher who’s opted to do shopping, it may take an extra few minutes to find and confirm a Dasher. Hang tight and we will find a Dasher for your order and have your order delivered to you!

What are DoorDash Shop & Deliver Orders? 

Our new grocery and convenience store offering allows you to shop at your favorite grocers and convenience stores and have your items delivered quickly. We currently offer a curated list of top grocery and convenience items and will be expanding our list regularly. 

What happens if the store doesn’t have an item I requested?

We will do our best to deliver all the items you’ve requested. If we can’t find an item or the store is out of stock, you will receive a refund for any missing items.

What happens if the store doesn’t have exactly the quantity of an item I requested?

If for example, you requested 3 limes and only received 2, we will refund you the difference at the end of the delivery. 

Can I ask my Dasher to pick up other items not on my initial order?

Yes. If you’re using Doordash on your mobile phone, you can continue to add items to your cart. Simply tap “Add” on the order tracking page while your Dasher is still shopping to add items to your order. Your Dasher will be notified and will contact you if they have any questions or need you to approve any potential substitutions.

What if I have an issue with my order?

Please contact the Dasher while the delivery is ongoing. Additionally, you can contact our support teams here.
