Q: What is the Google Play x DashPass offer? 

A: Google Play and DoorDash have worked together to offer all Google Play Points Platinum level customers with a 6-month free trial of DashPass. 

Q: What DashPass benefits do I get as a Google Play Points Platinum customer? 

A: Qualifying Google Play Points Platinum customers are eligible for all DashPass benefits on both DoorDash and Caviar when they activate a 6 month trial through the unique code provided by Google Play. DashPass benefits include $0 delivery fees, discounted service fees and tons of benefits in your area. After the free trial, customers will automatically be enrolled in the monthly paid version of DashPass until they cancel.  

Q: Who is eligible for this offer?

A: Consumers who have received the redemption code directly from Google Play and are Google Play Points Platinum level users are eligible for this offer.  

Q: What if I am already subscribed to DashPass? 

A: The Google Play DashPass offer is available for all eligible Google Play Points Platinum customers, regardless of current DashPass status. Customers who have an existing DashPass subscription (whether paid or free) are eligible to sign up for the Google Play DashPass extended trial offer.  Customers on certain partner benefit plans may need to first cancel their existing subscription before redeeming this offer. 

Q: Will my DashPass benefits apply to both Caviar and DoorDash? 

A: Yes! Please use the same login information for both Caviar and DoorDash. Your DashPass benefits will      automatically be available on both platforms.

Q: What makes an order eligible for DashPass benefits? 

A: An order is eligible for DashPass benefits if it’s placed with a participating store and it meets the subtotal minimum for that store:

  • Check the DoorDash/Caviar app or Doordash.com/ Trycaviar.com for stores near you that have the green DashPass symbol. 

  • Enjoy a $0 delivery fee and reduced services fees on orders that meet the subtotal minimum for that store, as detailed in the app. 

  • A $0 delivery fee and reduced service fees should apply to your order if the above criteria are met.

Q: Will I keep my DashPass membership even if I’m no longer a Google Play Platinum level customer?  

A: Even if your Google Play Points level changes, if you have received and redeemed the code you will retain your 6 month DashPass membership until it expires. You then will automatically be enrolled in the monthly paid version of DashPass until you cancel.

Q: Why don’t I see the Google Play offer in the DoorDash or Caviar mobile apps? 

A: This is a special offer for Google Play Points customers, and is only available for eligible Google Play Points Platinum customers who receive the offer through promotional emails or other marketing communications from Google Play. Redeem the offer via your Play Points perks page.

Q: What happens at the end of my 6 month DashPass trial? 

A: At the end of your 6 month DashPass trial membership, you will automatically be enrolled in the monthly paid version of DashPass and will be charged on a recurring basis using a payment method on file in your account until you cancel. Instructions on how to cancel can be found here.

Q: How is the expiration date of my free DashPass benefit determined? 

A: The free 6-month DashPass subscription period for the Google Play Points customer will begin and end based on when the membership is activated. You will then be automatically enrolled into the monthly paid version of DashPass until you cancel.

Q: Can I get multiple DashPass 6 month trials if I have multiple Google Play Platinum accounts? 

A: Only one trial is available for each Google Play account.

Q: What happens if I cancel my DashPass part way through my free trial? Can I start over again? 

A: No, you can only redeem this 6-month free DashPass trial offer one time. If you cancel your DashPass subscription during the 6-month free trial, your DashPass trial and benefits will immediately end. 

Q: I received a Google Play code but can’t sign up for free DashPass, what do I do?
