DashPass Family Sharing - Terms & Conditions
By sharing your DashPass account or accepting an invitation to share a DashPass account, you agree to the DoorDash Consumer Terms & Conditions (including Section 13 “DashPass Subscriptions”) and the following terms and conditions (the “DashPass Family Sharing Terms & Conditions”)
DashPass Family Account Sharing: The DashPass family sharing feature allows certain DashPass members (“Account Sharers”), as indicated in their DoorDash accounts, to invite another person (“Invitees”) to join their DashPass family account and apply select DashPass benefits on the Invitees’ eligible orders. Account Sharers may only share their account with one Invitee at a time; Account Sharers may replace the Invitee with another Invitee up to one (1) time per calendar year. Account Sharer may remove the Invitee from their family account at any time.
Availability & Eligibility: DoorDash reserves the right to limit the availability of the DashPass family account sharing feature only to select Account Sharers. DashPass members on partnership DashPass plans, DashPass Student Plan and corporate DashPass plans are not eligible to be Account Sharers. DoorDash further reserves the right to limit the ability of certain Invitees to participate in DashPass family accounts. The DashPass family account sharing feature is only available to Account Sharers and Invitees who meet the following conditions (“Eligibility Criteria”):
DashPass Account Sharers and Invitees must each have or create a valid DoorDash account with a valid form of accepted payment on file;
DashPass Account Sharers must not have a paused DashPass subscription and must not have their subscription pending cancellation;
Invitees cannot have another active DashPass membership;
Invitees can only participate in one DashPass family account at a time;
The Account Sharer and Invitee must reside in the same country; and
Account Sharers must not invite Invitees who reside in a different country.
DoorDash reserves the right to temporarily or permanently remove or suspend Invitees who do not meet these Eligibility Criteria as determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion. If Account Sharers invite Invitees who do not meet these Eligibility Criteria as determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion, DoorDash may temporarily or permanently restrict the Account Sharer’s ability to create or invite others to their family accounts.
DoorDash further reserves the right to restrict access to the DashPass family sharing feature to any Account Sharers or Invitees who have engaged in any fraud, abuse, tampering, or violation of these DashPass Family Sharing Terms & Conditions or the DoorDash Consumer Terms and Conditions.
Orders: If you place an order on DoorDash as an Invitee on a DashPass family account, you are solely responsible for payment for that order. You are also solely responsible for any communications with respect to that order and for ensuring that you meet any applicable order requirements (e.g., signature on delivery, identification verification).
Benefits: By accepting a DashPass family account invitation, Invitees will have access to certain DashPass benefits associated with the DashPass membership of the Account Sharer. DoorDash reserves the right to restrict, modify, or limit the DashPass benefits that are shared with Invitees and made available to them. DashPass benefits will only apply to the individual user placing the order; those benefits will not apply or transfer to the other members in the family account. The Account Sharer or Invitee may not both be able to access any offer or other benefits that have a “one per DashPass membership” limitation if that offer or benefit has already been redeemed by another member of the DashPass family account. Participation in a DashPass family account may also restrict the ability of the Account Sharer or Invitee to participate in free or discounted DashPass memberships or trials.
Termination of DashPass Benefits: The Invitee will immediately lose access to DashPass benefits if (1) the Account Sharer’s DashPass membership terminates or expires for any reason, (2) the DashPass family sharing feature is deactivated, either by the Account Sharer or by DoorDash, or (3) the Invitee leaves the DashPass family account.
Other: These DashPass Family Sharing Terms & Conditions are subject to change at any time. DoorDash reserves the right to modify, restrict, or cancel these DashPass Family Sharing Terms & Conditions at any time. DoorDash further reserves the right to modify, restrict, or cancel the DashPass family sharing feature at any time.
