Getting certified for alcohol deliveries in Canada
How do I get certified?
Go to the Dasher Account tab of your Dasher app and open the Dasher Education section to check if submissions are currently being accepted. To be eligible for alcohol deliveries, Dashers in Alberta, British Columbia, Ontario, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan must complete an alcohol delivery certification course. If submissions are being accepted, read on to see which course you should take and how to submit your alcohol delivery certificate.
Step 1
Alcohol Delivery Certification Course by Province:
Alberta: go to the ProServe website and register for and complete the online course.
British Columbia: go to the Serving It Right website and register for and complete the online course.
Ontario: go to the EnRoute website, or the Safe Delivery website, or the R.A.D. Responsible Alcohol Delivery Training website and register for and complete any one course.
Manitoba: go to the Smart Choices website and register for and complete the online course.
Saskatchewan: go to the Serve It Right website and register for and complete the online course.
Step 2
Once you pass, download a PDF or image of your certificate.
Step 3
Submit your certificate by visiting the Dasher Account tab of your Dasher app and opening the Dasher Education section.
Step 4
After successfully submitting your certificate, you’ll see a reward for completing the applicable course in the Earnings section of your Dasher app. To qualify for the reward, Dashers must complete at least one delivery and submit a valid alcohol certification per provincial laws. Rewards will appear in the Earnings section of the Dasher app within 3-7 business days after the certification has been verified and approved.
