Big Wins by the DCC

  • COVID-19 Relief Efforts - shared perspectives on how the Financial Assistance and telehealth programs should be designed to best support Dashers in need. Also provided feedback to help increase effectiveness of no-contact deliveries.

  • App Super Testers - volunteered to early test beta versions of the app and provided actionable feedback (e.g., testing in-app navigation, no-contact deliveries).

  • Dasher Ratings - Provided feedback on ratings fairness and helped to define scenarios that are beyond Dashers’ control. DoorDash is now excluding low customer ratings (below 5 stars) for deliveries having long merchant wait, missing or incorrect when the bag is sealed, and others.   • Consistent Feedback Sessions - provided important perspectives into the planning and execution of special projects including Merchant interactions, and the new Dasher engagement, and improved drop offs instructions.

  • Policy Initiatives - shared their unique stories in states like California, New Jersey, and New York where lawmakers debated the future of gig economy work.

  • Top Dasher Program - beta tested the Top Dasher program to provide actionable feedback on how to make qualifications attainable, even for those who do not dash full time.

  • Dasher Digest - helped launch the Dasher newsletter and provided advice for the “Dasher-to-Dasher” section, which has helped millions of Dashers learn about delivering with DoorDash.

  • Dasher Community Events - led our first ever local community events, where Dashers gathered to share experiences, ask questions, and form bonds.
