Can I only opt in/out of a certain type of a notification from DoorDash?
Yes. Today, when you text STOP to opt-out to a notification from DoorDash, you are opting out of automated messages from DoorDash. Opting out means you will no longer receive:
Peak Pay texts
One-off announcements via text
However, you will still receive messages from customers, including SMS requests for no-contact delivery or questions about drop-offs. This is because communicating with customers during delivery is often important to ensuring that it’s completed correctly.
We do not recommend that Dashers opt out. If you are looking to turn off your Peak Pay notifications, consider “hiding alerts” from DoorDash using features on your phone (see below instructions for iOS devices).
