My Dasher Red Card was declined

[Attention:  If you have activated a Red Card before May 2024, you will be required to update to a new Red Card

Before reaching out to the Support team, make sure:

  1. You have picked the right items as per the customer’s order

  2. You have picked the right quantity and weight as per the customer’s order

  3. You have entered the exact weight of the weighted items (eg. fresh produce, meat)

For items that are unavailable, ensure that you have substituted with an item that is within the price range of the originally ordered item

Q: I have been prompted to add a new Red Card when I already had an existing Red Card - what do I do next?

A: If your Red Card was activated before May 2024, you will be required to update to a new Red Card. You will be prompted to update your Virtual Red Card in the Dasher App. Please follow the guided process to add the new card to your wallet. Your previous Red Card will be deactivated as soon as your new one is issued and you will no longer be able to use your old card. Once you have added your new card to your wallet, we recommend to delete your old Virtual Red Card from your digital wallet. 

Important: In order to access the latest version of your Virtual Red Card, please ensure you’re using the latest version of the Dasher app. 

*Note: If you have had a Red Card issued before May 2024 then you will be required to update to a new Red Card.

Q: I am having an issue adding my new Red Card to my wallet - how do I resolve this?

A: If you cannot add your new Red Card successfully - please follow the below checklist to troubleshoot:

  1. Ensure you have the latest version of the Dasher App

  2. Sign out and back into the Dasher App 

*Note: If you have had a Red Card issued before May 2024 then you will be required to update to a new Red Card. 

If you are still facing an issue, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Help button in the top-right corner of your Dasher app

  2. Select Red Card Declined

  3. Follow the on-screen instruction to resolve the issue
