What is Instant Transfer?
For a 1.75% fee, eligible US-based merchants can instantly transfer earnings to your external bank account. Instant Transfers generally occur immediately, usually within 30 minutes, but delays or failures may occur. Funds availability depends on the receiving financial institution.
How do I know if I am eligible?
At a minimum, you must be a verified DoorDash Merchant for 30 days with at least one order and have a verified linked bank account with DoorDash.
Not all merchants are eligible. Eligibility for and access to Instant Transfers may change at our sole discretion without notification to you.
How can I access this feature?
You can view your available earnings and activate an Instant Transfer from the Merchant Portal home screen.
How much of my earnings are available to cash out with Instant Transfers?
All earnings expected to payout on your next payout date, including all earnings made between the last payout and the time you are requesting the instant transfer, are eligible for Instant Transfer. You can view your available earnings from the Merchant Portal home screen. Any balance not transferred instantly will be sent according to your normal transfer schedule.
How many times can I use Instant Transfer?
You may use Instant Transfer once per day, as long as there are funds available to transfer.
Are there transfer limits?
Instant Transfers have a minimum balance of $100 and a maximum transfer size of $10,000. Funds that are not eligible for instant transfers will be paid out according to your usual payout schedule.
Is there a fee for Instant Transfer?
Yes, you will be charged a 1.75% fee based on the transaction amount.
How do I request an Instant Transfer?
If you are eligible for Instant Transfer and have funds available, you will see an Instant Transfer widget on the Home Page of the Merchant Portal under Payouts. The widget shows today’s earnings, upcoming payout earnings, and the amount available to transfer. Click “Transfer Now” to review the transfer details and payment breakdown. To complete the transfer, click “Confirm Transfer.” You’ll see a success message once the transfer is complete.
