WHY SHOULD I CREATE A TEST ORDER?

If you have a tablet, a test order is an opportunity for you to learn how DoorDash works and to train new employees. This is especially helpful after your store has initially been set up but you can create a test order any time. 

HOW DO I CREATE A TEST ORDER?

If you visit the Settings page on your tablet, you can create a test order.  This link will always be available, even after you begin taking normal orders on DoorDash.

HOW IS A TEST ORDER DIFFERENT FROM A NORMAL ORDER?

Two items will be randomly selected from your store’s menu for a test order. With a test order, you can see all the normal steps that a real order on the Tablet would go through.

NOTE: There is some functionality that is not available for test orders. For example, a Dasher will not be assigned to pick up the order nor will you be able to contact the customer. These functionalities will be available in a real DoorDash order
