Guaranteed earnings incentives are available for select Dashers in specific areas. These incentives ensure that you’ll receive at least the guaranteed amount if you complete the required number of deliveries and any other requirements in the specified timeframe. Guaranteed earnings are not an added incentive, but rather a commitment that you’ll earn at least the amount listed (you can always earn more!).

Q: How do Guaranteed Earnings incentives work?
A: Guaranteed earnings are just that - a guaranteed total amount of money you’ll earn from completing the required deliveries in the specified timeframe. Basically, they work as a “top off” if you don’t meet the minimum earnings threshold while you’re dashing!
Example of Guaranteed Earnings offer:
“Earn at least $500 in total earnings for 50 deliveries in the next week.”
Example: If you complete a minimum of 50 deliveries within 7 days as an active Dasher, you will earn at least $500. If you earn $400, DoorDash will add $100 the day following the last day of the Guaranteed Earnings period. Your total earnings for these deliveries will then be at the $500 guarantee. If you earn $600, however, you exceeded the minimum guarantee and will not be eligible for additional earnings through this offer.
Q: How do I know if I am eligible for Guaranteed Earnings?
A: To be eligible for Guaranteed Earnings, you will be notified through email and automatically enrolled. Eligible Dashers will see the results of the Guaranteed Earnings pay period via email and will be paid the day following the final day of the Guaranteed Earnings period. Guaranteed Earnings are not yet available to all Dashers in all markets, and you must receive a unique email offer to be eligible for that specific opportunity.
Q: Does this mean I get the guaranteed earnings on top of my regular earnings from deliveries?
A: No. You’ll earn your regular earnings from the deliveries you complete. If you earn less than the Guaranteed Earnings amount while completing at least the minimum required deliveries in the required timeframe, you’ll also receive the difference between what you earn and the guaranteed amount. You will not receive the guaranteed earnings on top of regular earnings.
Q: What happens if I earn less than the guaranteed earnings?
A: DoorDash will make up the difference between your total earnings throughout the Guaranteed Earnings time period and the guaranteed earnings amount offered.
Q: What if I earn more than the guaranteed earnings?
A: The guarantee is intended to make sure that you make at least the guaranteed amount. Any extra earnings above the guaranteed earnings will be yours to keep, but no additional amount will be sent by DoorDash.
Q: Which earnings will count towards the calculation for Guaranteed Earnings?
A: All earnings will count towards the calculation, including base pay, pay for canceled orders, and any Peak Pay. Any amount earned through tips, Dasher challenges, or by referring other dashers will not count towards your total.

A: Offers are for Dasher independent contractors who receive the communications. This offer is for the specified amount in Total Earnings for the deliveries during the designated time period. Total Earnings includes all money earned by driving with DoorDash, excluding tips, pay from Dasher challenges, and referral payments. If you complete the required deliveries in the specified number of days and your Total Earnings are less than the Guaranteed Amount, DoorDash will pay you the difference between the Guaranteed Amount and your Total Earnings. Deliveries involving orders marked undelivered by customer or cancelled deliveries, regardless of the reason for the cancellation, do not count as completed deliveries. We reserve the right to withhold or deduct payments that we determine or believe were in error, fraudulent, illegal, or in violation of the Dasher ICA terms or these terms. Terms subject to change.
