How do I sign up to become a Dasher in New Zealand?
This article applies to Dashers in New Zealand only
In order to become a Dasher, you’ll need to complete these steps
1. Use this link to start signing up!
Enter your post code, email address, and phone number to register.
2. Submit your profile information (full name and password).
3. Download the Dasher app (iPhone or Android) to continue signing up
4. Select your vehicle type and enter your birthdate
5 .Enter your place of birth and gender
6. Complete a free background check. To help ensure the continued safety and security of all members of our community, DoorDash uses the National Crime Check as its third-party provider to run secure background checks on all Dashers in Australia and New Zealand.
Have these documents or similar on hand so we can verify your identity and right to work:
Passport (Australian or Overseas)
Driver’s License
Medicare Card
Credit/Bank Card or Student Card
Background checks usually take 24-48hrs to be processed by the National Crime Check, but can take up to 14 business days.
7. Add your bank account information to receive your earnings weekly via direct deposit.
8. Click on Start Dashing to start earning
9. Once you have been activated, you will be sent a Dasher Activation Kit, however, this is not required to start Dashing.
