VDC (Voices from Dashers of Color) FAQs:
What is the difference between the VDC and DCC?
The DCC (Dasher Community Council) will address experiences of Dashers overall, whereas the VDC will focus on experiences and current affairs that relate specifically to Dashers of color.
Who is eligible to serve on the VDC?
Dashers with at least 100 deliveries are encouraged to apply.
What is the time commitment?
The time commitment will be 6 semi-monthly video meetings (each 60-90 minutes) over the course of 3 months.
How long will each VDC term be?
Each term will be 3 months total.
When is the next term?
Planning for the next cycle is still in progress. When application opens, it will be announced in the Dasher Digest emails.
Is this a paid position?
No, VDC members are volunteers. Applying to or being selected for the VDC does not establish an employer/employee relationship with DoorDash.
