Where can I find Most Liked Items?

Most Liked Items is a feature that’s currently available on restaurant pages in select markets in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Users with access to Most Liked Items must be signed into their DoorDash account in order to submit item ratings.

How are a store’s Most Liked items calculated?

Most Liked items are based on the number of positive (‘thumbs up’) ratings that an item gets from customers who have tried it on DoorDash. Up to three menu items from a store can display a “Most Liked” label at any given time. The items are ranked by the number of positive ratings, descending.

Why am I not seeing the Most Liked items on a store menu?

In order for a store to display a Most Liked item, an item must have a certain amount of positive ratings. If you’re not seeing Most Liked items, the store likely does not yet have any items that meet the criteria.

How do I rate items?

After placing an order from a restaurant on DoorDash, you can rate the menu items (‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’) from your most recent order. You’ll be prompted to submit item ratings (along with an optional rating and public review for the store) the next time you open your DoorDash app, after your order is delivered or picked up. You can also leave item ratings on your most recent order (that you have not yet submitted any form of feedback on) from a store by visiting the store page and selecting ‘Tap to Review’, then ‘Submit Review’.

Where do I go to submit item ratings?

To submit item ratings, visit a store you’ve recently ordered from on DoorDash and select ‘Tap to review’. If you’ve ordered from the store before and have not yet submitted any form of feedback on your most recent order from that store, you’ll see the option to ‘thumbs up’ or ‘thumbs down’ items. You’ll also automatically be given the option to submit item ratings right after completing an order upon opening your DoorDash app.

I see the option to leave a rating and review, but don’t see the option to rate items. Why?

If you’re not seeing the option to rate items from a store, there are likely two reasons:

  • You haven’t ordered from the store on DoorDash: In order to help ensure that most liked items are reflective of verified DoorDash experiences, we only allow customers to submit ratings on items they’ve ordered from the store on DoorDash.

  • You already submitted a form of feedback on your most recent order from that store: We only allow one “verified” review per order to help ensure that feedback is reflective of a customer’s experience on DoorDash. If you have ordered from the store before but are not seeing the option to rate items from your most recent order, you likely already ‘reviewed’ the order with one of the following forms of ratings or reviews: dasher rating, pickup rating, private feedback to the merchant, public review, or a rating.

You’ll be given the option to submit an item rating after your next order from the store.

I want to submit item ratings but don’t feel like submitting a rating or writing a review. Is that possible?

Yes! Item ratings are meant to be an easier way for you to share feedback that helps local restaurants grow their businesses and people in your neighborhood decide what to eat. Pick whichever format of feedback (rating, written review, item rating, or a combination of formats) works best for you.

Can I rate an item more than once?

Yes, if you order the item more than once. You’ll be given the option to submit item ratings after each order that you place from a restaurant on DoorDash. This means that if you order from a restaurant, you’ll be given the option to rate the items ordered. If you order the same items from the same restaurant location again, you’ll be given the option to rate these items again.

You’ll only be able to submit ratings for your most recent order.
