What is the DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account?
The DoorDash Crimson account is a personal banking(1) account where Dashers can receive their earnings, enjoy cash back and perks. The DoorDash Crimson account includes a DoorDash Crimson Visa® Debit Card for spending.

What is the difference between DoorDash Crimson and the “Red Card”?
DoorDash Crimson account is a personal banking account where Dashers can receive their earnings, enjoy cash back and perks.
The Red Card(2) is a prepaid card that Dashers use to pay for items on Dasher Shop & Deliver offers. The card will automatically be funded when you go to check out for a shopping offer. Red Cards are not linked to Dasher bank accounts or related to earnings.

What banking functionality is included with my DoorDash Crimson Card?
With DoorDash Crimson, you can bank with confidence. You’ll get a secure, full-featured debit card and mobile banking experience, all within the Dasher app. You can withdraw cash fee-free, at over 40,000 MoneyPass® ATMs nationwide. With DoorDash Crimson you can also pay bills, send funds, and add other direct deposits or cash to your account. Limits and fees may apply. Which bank provides the DoorDash Crimson account?
The DoorDash Crimson Deposit Account is established by Starion Bank, Member FDIC. The DoorDash Crimson Visa Debit Card is issued by Starion Bank pursuant to a license from Visa U.S.A. Inc.
Do I need to download a separate app?
No. You will be able to access all DoorDash Crimson features and account details directly within the Dasher app. Navigate to the Earnings tab, and tap the “DoorDash Crimson” entry point to access the full DoorDash Crimson experience. The “DoorDash Crimson” app experience is protected by biometric authentication for protection and security.
Can I use FastPay and DoorDash Crimson together?
No. Once your DoorDash Crimson application is approved, you’ll automatically receive payouts after every dash, at no fee, to your DoorDash Crimson account, so you'll no longer need to cash out daily with Fast Pay. To switch back to weekly direct deposits (with the option of withdrawing funds daily with FastPay for a $1.99 fee), tap the “View payout details” button on your Earnings screen, and select the "Change Payout Method" button.
What is the difference between DoorDash Crimson and DasherDirect?
DoorDash Crimson is a new personal banking account where Dashers can receive their earnings instantly through Instant Pay, enjoy cash back and perks from exclusive DoorDash partnerships, and manage their money easily, safely, and securely, all within the Dasher app.
DasherDirect is a legacy banking program previously offered to Dashers as a payment method with features like Instant Pay and cash back rewards. DoorDash is transitioning to a new partnership to provide new and improved offerings for Dashers, and will be sunsetting the DasherDirect program. Instant Pay and cash back rewards through DasherDirect will also sunset over the coming months.
Getting Started
How do I apply for DoorDash Crimson?
You can apply for a DoorDash Crimson account by visiting the Earnings tab within the Dasher app and following the instructions shown. No credit check required, and no fee to apply(3).

What information is needed to apply?
You’ll need to confirm your personal information, address and Social Security number submitted when creating your Dasher account. In some cases, you may be asked to provide a form of government ID as well. If you need to update any of the information submitted previously, please reach out to DoorDash Crimson Support at 1-855-973-1040.
How soon will I know if I'm approved?
Many applicants are approved right away! If your application requires additional information, you may be asked to provide a form of government ID within the DoorDash Crimson application flow. In the event that your application isn’t approved right away, you will receive a status update in the Dasher app. It may take up to 3 business days to review and respond.
How long does it take for the card to arrive?
While it may take 7-10 business days for your physical card to arrive in the mail, you’ll have immediate access to a virtual card, and account details, as soon as you are approved for a DoorDash Crimson account. You can use the details from the virtual card, available in the Dasher app, for making online purchases and completing bank transfers until the physical card arrives. You can also add your card to your Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet.
What should I do if my card doesn’t arrive during the expected delivery range?
Updates about your card are available within the Dasher app. If you have not received your card during the expected delivery range, please contact DoorDash Crimson Support at 1-855-973-1040.
Using Your DoorDash Crimson Card
How does the virtual card work?
The virtual card allows you to access your Crimson account for your Dasher earnings automatically and to make online purchases, pay bills, and complete money transfers. You can add your virtual card to your Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet. Once you activate your physical card, you will always have access to your card information within the Dasher app, alongside the physical card.
What is the routing number for DoorDash Crimson?
The routing number to be used for transfers is 075972202. You can find this plus your account number in the Account Details section of your Crimson Hub of the Dasher app.
Where can I see my DoorDash Crimson Available Balance?
You can see your DoorDash Crimson Available Balance within the Earnings tab of your Dasher app.
How can I set up direct deposit with my DoorDash Crimson account?
You can use your account number and routing number for your account to set up direct deposits. This information is located in the Account Details section of your Crimson Hub of the Dasher app. Learn more on how to direct deposit into Crimson here.
Can Dashers use their DoorDash Crimson Card outside of their area state?
Yes! Dashers can use their DoorDash Crimson Card everywhere Visa debit cards are accepted.
Do I need to update my payout method in order to start receiving instant payouts?
No action is needed. Your default payout method will automatically switch to DoorDash Crimson once you have been approved.
Do I need to wait until my physical DoorDash Crimson Card arrives to access my DoorDash earnings?
No, you will be issued a virtual card in your Dasher app that can be used while you wait for your physical card to arrive. Your default payout method will automatically switch to DoorDash Crimson when you are approved. Once you start receiving your DoorDash earnings in your DoorDash Crimson account, use your virtual card for online purchases, bill payments, transfers to other bank accounts and more.
How to Withdraw Cash at Retail Stores, Convenience Stores, and Grocery Stores with Your Virtual Crimson Card?
You can withdraw cash with your virtual Crimson Card at many large retail, convenience, and grocery stores, even if you don’t have your physical card! Follow the instructions below:
How to add your virtual card to your digital wallet: Add your virtual Crimson card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your phone. To do so, open the Dasher app and –
Navigate to the Earnings tab
Click on the DoorDash Crimson banner
Click on “View card details.”
And finally, click the “Add to Apple Wallet / Google Wallet” option.
That’s it! You're done!

What if a particular store is not listed here (Ex: Wholefoods or Costco)?
Many grocery and convenience stores with tap to pay offer this service but Dashers need to go and check as this can vary by stores and locations.
Request Cash Back when checking out: At the self-checkout or with the cashier, use your virtual Crimson Card via your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet. Select the cash back option, choose your withdrawal amount, and tap your phone to complete the transaction.
Some things to keep in mind
Tap-to-Pay: To get cashback with your virtual Crimson Card, be sure the local merchant is using a contactless tap-to-pay card reader for payments.
Availability: Service availability may vary by location and store policy. Please be sure to check when you go to a particular store.
Fees: Some stores do not charge a fee for cash back with purchases, but this varies by retailer. Check with the store location to confirm.
Withdrawal Limits: Some stores may impose cash-back limits (e.g., $20, $40, $60, or $100 per transaction). You will be able to verify in the store at checkout.

How to Withdraw Cash from contactless ATMs with Your Virtual Crimson Card?
Some contactless ATMs may support the ability to withdraw cash with your virtual Crimson card, though fees* may apply. Follow the instructions below:
Add card to your digital wallet: Add your virtual Crimson Card to your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your phone. To do so, open the dasher app and navigate to: --> Earning tab --> DoorDash Crimson --> View card details --> Add to Apple/Google wallet.
Find a Contactless ATM: Locate an ATM that supports cardless/contactless cash withdrawals. Look for the contactless symbol (a Wi-Fi-style icon) on the ATM. Some ATMs from Chase, PNC, Wells Fargo and Walgreens may support contactless withdrawal.
Tap to Start: Unlock your mobile device and tap your phone near the contactless symbol on the ATM.
Enter Your PIN: Follow the on-screen instructions and enter your PIN to complete the withdrawal.
*Fees: $2.00 Out-of-Network ATM Withdrawal Fee may apply. Third-party ATM operators may also charge a fee each time you withdraw funds at a non-MoneyPass® ATM.

Rewards and Benefits
What types of cash back rewards(4) does DoorDash Crimson(5) offer?
The DoorDash Crimson Card currently offers cash back on gas purchases and on EV charging purchases.
4 Rewards earned by using your Crimson Card for qualifying purchases as offered in the Crimson Hub. Cash back on gas limited to $700 in total spend per month, at the pump only. Rewards eligible to redeem in the Crimson Hub. Subject to eligibility requirements and limitations. May change without notice.

How do I earn cash back rewards?
You can earn cash back by using your DoorDash Crimson Card for qualifying gas purchases at the pump and electric vehicle charging stations. Reward offer limits and conditions apply and cash back rewards on gas limited to $700 in total spend per calendar month. Cash back rewards will be eligible to redeem in the DoorDash Crimson Hub in the Earnings tab of the Dasher app after purchase.
How do I redeem my cash back rewards?
Cash back is collected in a separate sub-balance and is redeemable at any point. All you have to do is click "Redeem to balance". Once you redeem your rewards, they will instantly move to your DoorDash Crimson Available Balance and can be used to transact.
How can I access instant(6) direct deposits for no fee?
Visit the Earnings tab in your Dasher app to apply for DoorDash Crimson - no monthly fee and no credit check required. Once you’ve activated your DoorDash Crimson Card, your future Dasher earnings will automatically be added to your DoorDash Crimson account so you are paid after every dash. Tips are also automatically added to your DoorDash Crimson account.
6 Earnings deposits typically occur within seconds. There may be times when deposits are delayed or not completed.

What do I do if I lose my DoorDash Crimson Card?
Click the “Replace your card” button within the Crimson Hub on the Earnings screen. You will be prompted to give the reason for needing a card replacement and asked to verify your address. Once you request to replace your card, you will be issued a new virtual card and a new physical card will be shipped to your address. Please note: there is a $5 fee for lost or damaged cards, charged directly to your DoorDash Crimson account.

If you have a DoorDash Crimson account and would like to delete your DoorDash data, please contact Dasher Support at 1-(833)296‑9399 so we can assist you with your request. Note that your Crimson account data is generally exempt from US state privacy laws that provide for a right of deletion. DoorDash will retain and safeguard your Crimson account data in accordance with applicable legal and contractual requirements. If you do not have a Crimson account and would like to delete your data, please use one of the methods described in DoorDash’s Dasher Privacy Policy.
How do I access my DoorDash Crimson account if I have been deactivated?
If your Dasher account is deactivated, you will continue to have access to your DoorDash Crimson account information and any funds. To access your account, you can use an ATM to check your account information, withdraw funds, make transfers, or conduct other activities.
