My Dasher Red Card was declined

Before reaching out to the Support team, make sure:

  1. Your Dasher app is directing you to use the Doordash Red Card Prepaid Mastercard® to pay for the order.

    “Prepaid cards in Canada do not use the Debit rails. Debit will not be prompted.”

  2. You have picked the right items as per the customer’s order.

  3. You have picked the right quantity and weight as per the customer’s order.

  4. You have entered the exact weight of the weighted items (eg. fresh produce, meat).

  5. For items that are unavailable, ensure that you have substituted with an item of similar size/quantity to the originally ordered item.

If you are still having trouble, you can use self help to try to resolve the issue:

  1. In the upper right hand corner of the app, tap HELP (iPhone) or ? (Android)

  2. Select Red Card Declined

  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to resolve the issue.
