Q: What is the Dasher Rewards Program?
A: Dasher Rewards is currently being offered as a program, with certain rewards and features only available in the select locations. If you are dashing in New York City, please see here for more information about the NYC Dasher Rewards Program.

This program consolidates the following existing programs under one program with a unified qualification criteria across Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate and Customer Rating.

You can access the Dasher Rewards page in your Dasher app, where you can view your current status and the rewards you currently have unlocked. To qualify for the Dasher Rewards pilot program, Dashers in the pilot program markets must meet minimum ratings across Customer Rating, Acceptance Rate, and Completion Rate.

Q: What does it mean for me if I was in one of these existing programs?
A: The existing programs that we consolidated are no longer active in the mentioned submarkets above, and have been replaced with the new Dasher Rewards pilot program.

Q: How does the Dasher Rewards program work?
A: Once your Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate, Customer Ratings and delivery count qualify for a level, you will automatically be eligible for the Dasher Rewards pilot program. As your ratings change, your newly unlocked rewards will be unlocked within 48 hours to match your current rewards level.

For example, if you are in the middle of a dash and completing an order has increased your Completion Rate (and all of your other ratings already qualify) such that you now qualify for Silver status, you will immediately unlock Silver level rewards. Similarly, if you are in the middle of a dash and unassigning from an offer has lowered your Completion Rate below the minimum requirement for Silver level, you will lose access to Silver level rewards until your ratings have increased to meet the eligibility criteria.

Q: What requirements must I meet to qualify?
A: Requirements for the levels in the program depend on the area. Please check the Ratings tab in the Dasher app to see what the qualifications are in your area.

Q: I just started to dash on DoorDash. How does this program work for me?
A: For Dashers who just joined DoorDash and have completed less than 50 deliveries, we understand that it takes time to learn how to use the platform. To help you get off to a great start, new Dashers will have access to special perks on your first 50 deliveries. After you’ve completed your first 50 deliveries, you’ll be eligible to qualify for the Dasher Rewards program. With Dasher Rewards, you’ll be able to unlock multiple levels of those same perks and more.

Q: What rewards do I get from being a part of the program?
A: Depending on your current level, the rewards that we are offering are

  • Priority Access to high-paying orders

    • This perk gives qualifying Dashers priority for high paying orders. Dashers who have unlocked this perk will get priority access, which increases the likelihood of seeing a high paying order. Dashers will get even higher priority as their rewards status increases across Silver, Gold and Platinum.

  • Priority access to Dash Now

    • Dashers with this reward will have priority access when Dash Now is available. In some areas, Dashers may be able to “Dash Now” regardless of whether or not it is busy.

  • VIP Dasher Support

    • When available, Dashers who reach out to Support will be routed to top agents who are equipped to handle all types of Dasher issues

  • Advanced Scheduling

    • Dashers can schedule to dash up to 6 days in advance beginning at 3 p.m. each day.

  • Access to Large Orders

    • Dashers will be eligible to be prioritized for Large Orders - Catering orders, which can mean bigger tips and higher earning potential. A catering bag is no longer required for this reward.

  • Discounts on DoorDash (only available in certain areas)

    • Check your email to see if you qualify and more details.


Q: What are “high-paying orders”?
A: High paying orders are some of the highest paying deliveries in the area, which can vary by area, over time, and by delivery distance. We calculate high paying orders based on total pay, which includes base pay, peak pay, and tips.

Look out for your rewards tier icon in the Dasher app when you receive an offer, which means that you were prioritized for this high paying order.

Q: How can I check my ratings and level?
A: You can look at your Ratings tab in the Dasher app to see your current status and unlocked rewards.

Q: Once I qualify for a level, how long will it take for me to begin to receive those rewards?
A: Once you qualify, your new eligible rewards will be unlocked and will remain active as long as your ratings stay within the requirements for your level. Some rewards will take up to 24-48 hours to refresh and may require equipment approval to activate.

Q: What happens if my Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate or Customer Rating drops below the minimum to qualify?
A: If your Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate or Customer Rating drops below the minimum to qualify, you will still be able to dash but will no longer qualify for the rewards in the Dasher Rewards program.

Q: Can I still decline offers?
A: Dashers can accept or decline offers based on their personal preferences.

Q: I am at Platinum level in my area and see that I have the reward: “Discounts on DoorDash” - How does this work?
A: Only Dashers with Platinum level on Mondays at 10am PST in select markets will be eligible to receive the reward every 2 weeks. This promotion will be live starting on Mondays through the following Sunday 23:59PM local times for eligible Dashers in select markets, and is limited to one redemption per user. Dashers must use their Dasher app login (email/password) to sign into the DoorDash app and, if eligible, the discount will be available in the DoorDash app under ‘Promo Codes’ at checkout. Limit one redemption per person, available on Monday every 2 weeks.

Q: Are there any other terms or conditions that I should know about?
A: We may modify or end this program at any time for any reason, and eligibility is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to delay payment for purposes of investigation and to withhold payment or close the account(s) of any Dasher if we determine in our sole discretion that a Dasher has used or attempted to use this program in a fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise suspicious manner or violation of any applicable law or regulation.

The Dasher Rewards Program is currently being offered with certain rewards and features available in certain locations (which may differ by area). You understand that DoorDash may terminate or modify the Program (including, without limitation, what the Rewards are, how you earn them, and the duration and availability of the program) at any time in DoorDash’s sole discretion. DoorDash further reserves the right to offer select rewards and/or make modifications to the Program only to limited cohorts of participants at its sole discretion. Check the Dasher App to determine if the program is available in your market and if you are eligible to participate.

DoorDash also reserves the right to modify or remove a Dasher’s reward status, delay payment for purposes of investigation, and to withhold payment or close the account(s) of any Dasher if we determine in our sole discretion that a Dasher has used or attempted to use the Dasher Rewards Program or Dasher app in a fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise suspicious manner, or has violated the Independent Contractor Agreement, the Platform Access Policy, or any applicable law or regulation.
