Q: What is the NYC Dasher Rewards Program?
A: New York City Dasher Rewards is a program available to Dashers completing deliveries that begin or end in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Queens, and the Bronx.
The Rewards Program recognizes Dashers who consistently deliver with high quality—meeting standards across Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate, and On-Time Rate—by unlocking tiered perks and enhanced earning opportunities.
You can access the Dasher Rewards page in the Ratings tab on your Dasher app, where you can view your current status and the rewards you currently have unlocked. To qualify for the NYC Dasher Rewards program, Dashers delivering in New York City must meet minimum thresholds across On-time Rate, Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate, and total deliveries completed.
Q: How is the Dasher Rewards Program in New York City different from other places?
A: While the New York City Dasher Rewards Program incorporates many of the perks included in other markets, the NYC Program includes unique qualification criteria and offers certain perks and features that are only available to New York City Dashers to help ensure that Dasher, consumers, and merchants continue to have an accessible, high-quality experience on DoorDash.
Q: How does the NYC Dasher Rewards program work?
A: Once you meet the ratings and delivery criteria to qualify for a rewards level, you will be automatically eligible for the rewards available at your respective level. As your ratings change, your newly unlocked rewards will be available to match your current rewards level.
For example, if you are in the middle of a dash and accepting an offer increases your Acceptance Rate to 65% (and your Completion Rate is at 95%, On-time Rate at 75%), you have now qualified for Silver status, and you will immediately unlock Silver-level rewards. Similarly, if you are in the middle of a dash and unassign from an order to lower your Completion Rate below 95%, you will lose access to Silver-level rewards until your ratings have increased to meet the eligibility criteria.
Note that while rewards are unlocked immediately once you meet the criteria of a rewards tier, some rewards may take longer to go into effect. As an example, Dashers who request a catering bag upon qualifying for Platinum status can expect to hear back from DoorDash in 1-4 days.
Q: What requirements must I meet to qualify for the NYC Dasher Rewards Program?
A: When dashing in New York City, Dashers must meet the following criteria for each reward level:

Q: What are the rewards being offered in the program?
A: Depending on your current level, the rewards that we are offering are:
Priority access to Dash Now
Dashers with Silver, Gold, or Platinum status who have a record of consistent on-time deliveries will be eligible for Priority Access to Dash Now. Other things, like your equipment status and vehicle type, can also impact how often you can Dash Now. This is not the same reward as Dash Now Anytime offered through Top Dasher, and does not guarantee that you will always be able to Dash Now.
Priority to high-paying offers
Dashers with Silver, Gold, or Platinum status will get prioritized to receive the highest paying offers.
VIP Support
You’ll have Dasher VIP Support at your fingertips to resolve your issues when you reach out to Dasher support, on or off your Dash.
Advanced Scheduling
You can self-schedule a dash up to 6 days in advance, beginning at 3 p.m. each day
Access to Large Orders
If you have a catering bag, you’ll be prioritized for Catering orders, which can mean bigger tips and higher earning potential. Processing for catering bag verification can take between 24 and 96 hours to be completed.
Eligibility to weekly bonus pay reward
Dashers who finish the week with Gold or Platinum status and have completed that week's bonus pay qualification criteria are eligible to receive a weekly bonus payment on top of their delivery earnings. Details about the current week’s bonus criteria will be shared on Mondays via email.
Store Pause
Dashers with Gold and Platinum status are eligible for Store Pause, a perk that lets you pause offers from certain stores in your area without impacting your Acceptance Rate. Platinum Dashers can pause up to 3 stores at a time, and Gold Dashers can pause 1 store at a time
Platinum Pass
Dashers with Platinum status are eligible for Platinum Pass, which lets you earn up to 3 free weeks of Platinum status, giving you a buffer if your tier ever drops. For every 200 consecutive deliveries completed at Platinum, you’ll earn 1 week of Platinum. If you drop down to Gold or Silver at any point, you can redeem this week's Platinum to get access to rewards without needing to meet the usual requirements.
Q: What is the weekly bonus pay reward? What can I expect?
A: The weekly bonus pay reward was introduced as part of the New York City Dasher Rewards program and is currently only available to New York City Dashers. Dashers must complete deliveries in New York City and complete the bonus pay qualification criteria communicated at the beginning of each week to receive the bonus payout for that week. Qualification criteria and bonus amounts may change weekly, so check your email for the latest details. The final bonus amount will be calculated based on your rewards tier at the end of the week, the number of deliveries you completed, how many Dashers are on the road, and overall delivery volume over the period.
Q: What happens to my Rewards Program status if I am no longer in New York City?
A: The New York City-specific Dasher Rewards program is only available to Dashers completing deliveries in New York City.
Q: How can I check my ratings and rewards level?
A: You can always look at your Ratings tab in the Dasher app to see your current status and unlocked rewards.
Q: Once I qualify for a rewards level, how long will it take for me to begin to receive those rewards?
A: Once you qualify, your new eligible rewards will be unlocked and will remain active as long as your ratings stay within the requirements for your level.
Q: What happens if my Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate, On-time Rate, or last 30-day delivery count drops below the minimum to qualify?
A: If your Acceptance Rate, Completion Rate, or On-time Rate drops below the minimum to qualify for the lowest reward level, you will still be able to dash via scheduling or if demand is high enough, but you will no longer qualify for the rewards in the Dasher Rewards program. You can requalify for rewards by increasing your ratings and delivery count back to the minimum thresholds (see above for requirements).
Q: Can I still decline orders?
A: Dashers can always accept or decline offers based on their personal preferences. This program simply offers rewards to Dashers who, at a minimum, maintain an On-time Rate of 75%, Completion Rate of 95%, and an Acceptance Rate of 65%
Q: Are there any other terms and conditions that I should know about?
A: DoorDash may change the method of payment defined by NYC pay regulations at any time as permitted under the law. DoorDash may also change or end the New York City Dasher Rewards Program, including the available rewards, how they are earned, the Dashers eligible to earn each reward, and the duration and availability of the Program, at any time in DoorDash’s sole discretion. Check the Dasher App to determine what is available to you.
DoorDash also reserves the right to modify or remove a Dasher’s reward status, delay payment for purposes of investigation, or close the account(s) of any Dasher if we determine in our sole discretion that a Dasher has used or attempted to use the NYC Dasher Rewards Program or Dasher app in a fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise suspicious manner, or has violated the Independent Contractor Agreement, the Platform Access Policy, or any applicable law or regulation.
