DoorDash Farmers Market Terms and Conditions
DoorDash Farmers Market: For a limited time, select DashPass members in New York City will be eligible to enroll in the DoorDash Farmers Market program (the “Program”). The Program enables eligible DashPass members to request that DoorDash purchase goods from Union Square Greenmarket for pickup or delivery (each, an “Order”). DoorDash will shop for, coordinate, and fulfill Orders. The types of goods available are determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion and may change at any time.
The Program is offered only in select locations and is available only on the dates and during the hours DoorDash designates. DoorDash may decline, cancel, or place limits on Orders, and certain items, vendors, or locations may be excluded. The Program is not available to all DashPass members, but only to select members as determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion. If you pause or cancel your DashPass subscription, you will lose access to the Program. DoorDash reserves the right to revoke eligibility or remove you from the Program at any time without notice, except as required by law.
Orders and availability: Submit Orders through the Program phone number by the stated cutoff, including your budget and substitution preferences. Goods, vendors, prices, and quantities are subject to availability. DoorDash may make substitutions within your approved preferences and budget; purchases outside those instructions require your approval. If approval is not received in time, DoorDash may omit items or cancel the Order. Pickup and delivery times are estimates. You must provide accurate handoff details, be available to receive your Order, and promptly collect and refrigerate perishable goods. DoorDash cannot guarantee goods are free from allergens or cross-contact.
Data and Information Sharing: To enable your participation, DoorDash and its service providers will need to process certain personal information from or about you, including identifiers (such as name and user ID), Order-related information, payment information, communication data, and contact information. This information will be processed to receive, process, and complete Orders, including deliveries and pickups, and communicate with you by email, phone, and/or SMS. We will disclose certain personal information to vendors and other parties you request that we engage with in connection with an Order. DoorDash and its service providers may need to access your DoorDash consumer account to initiate and complete Orders, including using payment information stored in your account.For more information, see the DoorDash Privacy Policy.
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree to the data processing and disclosures described in these terms and to receiving emails, calls, and/or SMS in connection with your participation. Message and data rates may apply. You may stop using the Program or contact the Program number to stop communications at any time.
Payment for Orders: You pay for goods. You authorize DoorDash and its payment processors to charge your selected payment method saved to your DoorDash account for amounts related to an Order, including purchases made on your behalf, disclosed fees, authorized tips, taxes, deposits or preauthorizations, and applicable adjustments or disclosed cancellation fees. If a charge is unsuccessful, you authorize DoorDash to retry and/or charge another saved payment method. We may place and later adjust a hold for the estimated amount; the final charge may differ based on actual purchases. Adjusted amounts will be settled within 48 hours of the transaction. You may be asked to add or verify a payment method. We may present an invoice and require approval before proceeding and charging your payment method. If you do not provide timely approval, we may cancel the Order. Actual amounts may vary due to taxes, fees, substitutions, weights, or price changes, subject to your approved budget. Contact the Program number promptly about cancellations, missing items, or quality issues. You will not be charged for unpurchased items; refunds required by law remain available.
Restricted Items and Prohibited Orders: Goods that are regulated, dangerous, or otherwise restricted are not available through the Program. You agree not to request alcohol; tobacco, vaping, or cannabis products; prescription medications or controlled substances; weapons, ammunition, or explosives; hazardous or flammable materials; live animals; cash or cash equivalents; items requiring a professional license or special permits; or other goods or activities deemed unlawful, unsafe, age-restricted, or prohibited by DoorDash. DoorDash may refuse or cancel any Order in its sole discretion.
Modification of terms: DoorDash reserves the right to modify these terms or amend, suspend, terminate, cancel, or discontinue the Program at any time without notice, except as required by law. Customers will not be entitled to a substitute, credit, or compensation as a result, except for refunds owed for unfulfilled Orders or as required by law.
Fraud and misconduct: DoorDash reserves the right to revoke or suspend your eligibility if DoorDash believes in its sole discretion that you are acting or attempting to act fraudulently or in bad faith.
Not a Reseller: You authorize DoorDash to place orders and pay vendors on your behalf. Amounts paid for goods reimburse the exact amount DoorDash paid on your behalf and are not consideration for a sale by DoorDash. You are the purchaser from the vendor, who is the seller of record. DoorDash does not resell or take title to the goods. Taxes may be charged by the vendor or collected by DoorDash where required by law.
Waiver and release: To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and waive claims against DoorDash and its affiliates, officers, and agents arising out of the Program or any Order, including acts or omissions of vendors or other third parties, handling or transport of items, access to properties, or Order communications. The Program and Orders are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. DoorDash is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or loss, theft, or damage to property. DoorDash’s total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid DoorDash for the Order giving rise to the claim, excluding reimbursements, or (b) $100. These provisions do not exclude refunds owed, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
General Terms: The Program is subject to the DoorDash Consumer Terms and Conditions and DoorDash Privacy Policy. Use of the Program is subject to the DoorDash Community Guidelines, which must be followed at all times. DoorDash reserves the right to decline or cancel an Order or remove you from the Program if DoorDash believes that you are not acting appropriately or are acting in contravention of those guidelines.
