New Dasher Priority for Merchants

We know that many restaurant workers are finding themselves with fewer hours -- hours they need to support themselves and their families. So we are creating a priority access program to help your workers sign up as Dashers and begin making deliveries safely, enabling them to meet their financial needs until their jobs return to normal. 

Your restaurant workers can receive priority access to become a Dasher with DoorDash*. We have a merchant partner signup link that your workers can use to get started. The sign up process is simple; our top requirements are:

• 18 years or older

• Driver’s license number

• SSN (only in US)

• Final step: consent to a background check

Once your restaurant workers get through the signup process, they’ll need to download the app and can start dashing once activated.

*If for any reason Dasher sign ups have reached capacity in your market, employees will still be able to share their email so we can notify them when they are able to sign up. We will send an email to merchant partner employee applicants and give them 24 hours to sign up through the merchant partner signup link, before opening it up to others.
