How do I integrate DoorDash with Doshii?

To connect DoorDash with Doshii, you need an active account with both platforms.

Before you start, you will need a POS menu that is synced with Redcat and ready to be published to DoorDash.

How do I request a Doshii integration?

Doshii has recently updated their store onboarding process. You can now request the Doshii DoorDash integration directly within your Doshii dashboard. Please follow these steps in your Doshii account to connect to DoorDash.

The Doshii team will work with DoorDash to integrate your store(s) and will reach out to discuss your menu, so keep an eye out for emails or calls!

How do I manage DoorDash orders through Doshii?

With the Doshii integration, DoorDash orders will go straight to your POS. You can monitor orders and statuses via the DoorDash Business Manager, DoorDash Tablet, or Order Manager app.

Order cancellations

Customers can cancel their order at any time. However, the refund amount will vary depending on how far along the order is, for more information click here.

If you need to cancel a DoorDash order, please contact DoorDash Merchant Support.

Pausing orders

You can temporarily suspend incoming DoorDash orders through the DoorDash Business Manager, DoorDash Tablet, or Merchant Portal. You can also contact DoorDash Merchant Support for assistance in temporarily pausing your store.

Scheduled orders

You can view scheduled orders on DoorDash via the Business Manager, DoorDash Tablet, or Merchant Portal.

Order prep times

DoorDash uses an algorithm to properly schedule preparation time for your store so we can tell Dashers when to arrive. If you want to change the preparation time, reach out to DoorDash Merchant Support.

Dasher status and delivery tracking

You can monitor Dasher status in real-time using the DoorDash Business Manager, or DoorDash Tablet.

How do I manage my integrated menu?

Once your DoorDash and Doshii integration is complete, all future menu changes will need to be made using the Doshii Menu management tools. The Doshii Customer Success team can provide a training session for making menu updates. You can also view support pages on Doshii Menu Management.

Menu updates

Use the Doshii menu management tool to edit and publish your menu to DoorDash whenever possible. See here to learn how. If you need assistance, contact the Doshii Customer Success team.

Menu photos

DoorDash can automatically pull photos from your menu on Doshii, review them, and upload them to your DoorDash menu. You can update your menu photos by following these steps. We'll only pull new photo URLs when you update your menu photos and push the update to DoorDash.

Make sure to review your photos to ensure they meet DoorDash photo guidelines.

Updating store hours

To change your DoorDash store hours, follow these steps or reach out to the Doshii Customer Success team.

Special instructions

DoorDash customers can include special instructions on items in their order, which are sent to your POS. To enable this feature, please reach out to DoorDash Merchant Support.

How do I adjust the sorting on my DoorDash menu?

To adjust the order or sorting of your menu items and categories, please refer to this Redcat documentation on keypad management or reach out to Redcat Support.

Can I set dayparted menus on my DoorDash menu?

For example, I have a separate breakfast and lunch menu. How does this work with the integration?
Unfortunately, the Redcat integration does not support dayparted menus. Only one menu can be sent to DoorDash. DoorDash will pull all categories (e.g. “Brunch”, “Lunch”, “Dinner”) as a single menu.

How can I monitor Dasher status with the integration?

Dasher status is not shared through the integration. Monitor it via the Business Manager app, DoorDash Tablet, or Order Manager app.

How can I temporarily pause my store on DoorDash with the integration?

If you need to temporarily pause orders, this can be done in the DoorDash Business Manager app, DoorDash Tablet, or DoorDash Merchant Portal. Pausing incoming DoorDash orders can only be done on the DoorDash backend and cannot be done from your Redcat POS.

Can I inflate prices or change them to be different from my in-store prices?
