Header Photo
The header photo is the image that appears across the top of your DoorDash Menu.
In order to add a Header photo, you must have your Store Logo on file.
How do I submit a Photos Support case?
Updating this photo will change the image for all stores that exist under the Business ID, so if you’re not sure if that’s something you want to update (say, for example, you are a franchisee and there are other independent franchisees’ locations under the same ID) please check with your Photos/Account rep and they can help determine the best way to go about this.



Item Photo
Item photos are the photos that will appear on your DoorDash menu. Each photo can only be linked to one item, but can be used across multiple different menus.
Photos should be named exactly as the item name appears on your DoorDash Menu (i.e. if you have a cheeseburger called “Quarter Pound Burger with Cheese” on your menu, please ensure the file name appears as “quarter_pound_burger_with_cheese” and not simply “cheeseburger”)
Photo should portray the exact portion/sizing of the item that the customer is to receive
Example: The same photograph cannot be linked to two different items of a “half” sandwich and a “full-size” sandwich, unless they both are listed as the same item and the choice of size is one of the options below.
Should not contain any items that are not included in the order
Example: Including a drink in the background is only acceptable if the item is a combo meal that comes with a drink.


Logo
Adding your store logo is a great way to get your brand identity in front of paying customers. Updating this will change the logo for all stores under your Business ID, so check with your rep if there are possibly other locations that are independent of you that might not want their logo updated.
Additionally, in order for any Header photo to show up at the top of your menu, we must have a logo on file for your business.
We can edit your logo to fit our specifications, so the only thing you need to do is send us a JPEG or PNG copy of your store’s logo, preferably on a plain white or transparent background (although this is not a requirement).
How do I submit a Photos Support request?

Listing/Carousel Photo
If you wish to choose a particular photo to display on your store’s listing on the DoorDash home and search pages, please submit a request through a Photos Support Case.
You can select a photo that is already linked to a menu item or provide a new photo such as a hero (group item) photo to represent your store!
Photos will need to meet our quality guidelines to be linked to your store.
