Overview
To offset increasing gas prices, Dashers can continue earning 10% cash back on gas when paying at the pump with the DoorDash Crimson Visa® Debit Card—now extended through June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT – so you can keep saving on every fill-up while you’re on the road.
This offer is part of DoorDash’s gas relief program launched in March 2026 to help offset rising fuel costs and put more money back in Dashers’ wallets. While final weekly gas price relief payments will be issued on April 29, DoorDash is continuing to offer 10% cash back on gas through June 30th.
How It Works
Dashers with a DoorDash Crimson account in good standing will get 10% cash back on gas(1) — that's 5x the standard 2% cash back — when paying at the pump using your DoorDash Crimson Card through June 30, 2026.
For Example: if you fill up a 10-gallon tank for about $40 based on current average gas prices, you’d get $4 back in your pocket every time you hit the pump and use your DoorDash Crimson Card.

The 10% cash back applies up to $700 in gas purchases per month, for a maximum of $70 back, when you pay at the pump. Cash back does not apply to in-store purchases. DoorDash Crimson is only available in the United States.

How do I get 10% cash back on gas with DoorDash Crimson?
(A) If you’re a DoorDash Crimson account holder. Dashers with a DoorDash Crimson account in good standing will automatically earn 10% cash back on gas when they pay at the pump using a DoorDash Crimson Card, through June 30, 2026. Cash back does not apply to in-store purchases. The 10% cash back on gas applies up to $700 of qualifying spend per month, for a maximum of $70 cash back per month. To redeem your cash back rewards, tap “Redeem to balance” in the Crimson hub of your Dasher app. Once you redeem your rewards, they will instantly move to your DoorDash Crimson Available Balance and can be used to transact.
(B) If you do not have a DoorDash Crimson account. If you do not yet have DoorDash Crimson, you can sign up in the Earnings tab of your Dasher app. Once approved, you will have access to a virtual card you can add to your digital wallet and use right away. Are there still weekly gas relief payments?
The weekly gas relief payments were a limited-time part of the gas relief program will end in the United States on April 26, 2026. Final payments will be sent to Dashers on April 29, 2026.
While those payments have ended, Dashers can continue to save on gas with 10% cash back when paying at the pump using the DoorDash Crimson card through June 30, 2026 at 11:59 PM PT.

Canada DoorDash Gas Price Relief for Dashers
Overview
Gas Price Relief is a limited-time program designed to help offset fuel costs while you dash in a motor vehicle.
From March 23 through May 24, 2026, eligible Dashers in Canada can earn weekly relief payments based on dashing mileage. There is no sign up or opt in needed. Eligible Dashers will be paid automatically and can see the payments in the ‘Other’ section of the Earnings tab of the Dasher app by the following Wednesday, with the first payment landing by April 1, 2026.(1)
How It Works - Weekly Gas Price Relief Payments
If you dash using a motor vehicle in Canada, you may qualify for extra weekly gas relief payments based on estimated kilometres you complete each week while dashing.
For each weekly qualification period, you can earn $1.50 CAD for every 50 estimated kilometres completed. The maximum gas relief payment you can earn is $36 CAD per week, capped at 1,200 estimated kilometres.
Qualification periods run Monday through Sunday, from March 23 to May 24, 2026.
If you qualify, your weekly gas relief payment is expected to appear in the Earnings tab of your Dasher app on the following Wednesday. The first payout is expected on April 1, 2026 for eligible kilometres completed from March 23 through March 29, 2026. Weekly payouts are expected to continue on Wednesdays through May 27, 2026.

Are gas price relief payments in addition to my guaranteed minimum earnings if I dash in British Columbia and Ontario?
Yes. Gas price relief payments are on top of your guaranteed earnings in locations with minimum pay requirements such as British Columbia and Ontario. This means any weekly gas relief payment is in addition to your applicable guaranteed minimum earnings and does not count toward those minimums.
Who is eligible for the gas price relief program?
Eligible Dashers who complete deliveries using a motor vehicle during the promotion period may qualify, subject to account standing and other program requirements. In Canada, the first threshold is 50 estimated kilometres.
Do I need to opt into the gas price relief program?
No. You do not need to opt in to receive the weekly gas incentive. If you are eligible, completed deliveries during the promotion period will automatically count.
How is distance calculated?
Distance is calculated based on the total kilometres driven from the time you accept a delivery to when it is marked complete. Only deliveries that you accept and successfully complete are included. At the end of each week (Monday through Sunday), we sum the on-delivery distance across all completed deliveries. This total may differ from the total distance driven during your shift, as it only reflects active delivery time.
Can I earn more than one weekly gas incentive in the same week?
No. You can earn only one weekly incentive per week, based on the kilometres driven during that qualification period.
When will I receive my weekly gas relief payment?
If you qualify, your incentive is expected to appear in the Earnings tab of your Dasher app on the following Wednesday.
For example, eligible distance completed from March 23 through March 29, 2026 is expected to be paid on April 1, 2026.
What if I do not reach the minimum weekly distance threshold?
If you do not meet the minimum threshold for your market, you will not receive a weekly gas incentive for that week. In Canada, the first threshold is 50 estimated kilometres.
Is DoorDash Crimson available in Canada?
No. At this time, DoorDash Crimson is only available to Dashers in the United States.

1 The Gas Price Relief program is available to eligible Dashers completing deliveries using a motor vehicle (excluding motor scooters and ebikes) between 03/23/26 and 05/24/26, with qualification periods running Monday 12:01am - Sunday 11:59pm local time. No opt-in is required. Dashers may earn $1.50 CAD for every 50 kilometres driven, up to a maximum of $36 CAD per week for driving 1,200 kilometres. Kilometres driven are calculated based on deliveries that are accepted and completed, as recorded in the Dasher app, and only those deliveries count toward totals. Eligible payments are typically issued by the following Wednesday and appear in the Earnings tab (for example, kilometres completed 3/23/26–3/29/26 are expected to be paid by 4/1). Any “per litre savings” estimates are illustrative only, and actual savings may vary based on vehicle efficiency, fuel prices, and driving patterns. Dashers must have an active account in good standing. DoorDash may withhold or adjust payments for fraud or abuse, and may modify or terminate the promotion at any time. Taxes are the Dasher’s responsibility.
