DCC - FAQ
DCC (Dasher Community Council) FAQs
Who is eligible to serve as a member?
Dashers meeting the following criteria are encouraged to apply:
Customer rating of 4.7 or higher
Completion rate of 95% or higher
Completed 500-lifetime deliveries
Have completed a minimum of 30 deliveries total in the last three months
What is the time commitment?
DCC members are required to join us once a month for 90 minutes via video conference. We sometimes invite members to speak with DoorDash teammates for their feedback on additional special projects.
I’m not sure if I can serve on the DCC at this time. Will there be another opportunity in the future?
DCC members will each serve six-month terms. We re-open the application every six months so you’ll have a chance to apply later.
How will you decide who serves on the Dasher Community Council?
DoorDash reviews applicants for eligibility requirements and makes selections based on a variety of factors. We are seeking a diverse, representative group of 9 Dashers to serve on the DCC. As a growing global company, we also want to ensure that geographic regions are represented.
When will I find out if I’m selected?
Each cohort runs on a six-month basis (January - June or July - December). Applications typically open three months prior to the start of the next cohort and finalists will be chosen a few weeks prior to the start of the next cohort.
If I applied to the DCC before and was not selected, can I apply again?
Yes, you can apply as long as you meet the eligibility requirements.
Is this a paid position?
No, DCC members are volunteers. Applying to or being selected for the DCC does not establish an employer/employee relationship with DoorDash.
