Welcome to Going Out!

Q: What is Going Out?
Going Out is a new rewards program from DoorDash that gives you access to exclusive discounts and experiences when dining in person at select local restaurants.
Q: How do I use Going Out?
Open the DoorDash app (Available on IOS and Android).
Access Going Out from the top of the home page.
Claim a deal you’re interested in — some are available for a limited time.
Visit the restaurant and redeem your deal through the app. Follow the instructions on screen.
Q: How do I redeem a deal?
Most deals require uploading a photo of your receipt, while some require checking in with restaurant staff or linking your card. Please follow steps shown on-screen for redemption instructions. Please note: Deals offering DoorDash credits are automatically applied to your DoorDash account — not given by restaurant staff. You do not need to have any interaction with the staff.
Q: Where can I find my claimed deals?
Your claimed deals will appear automatically when you open the DoorDash app at the restaurant.
You can also go to the Going Out page → My Stuff tab to view and select your deals.
Q: What do I do if Going Out is not working?
If you’re having trouble using Going Out, try these quick steps:
Update your DoorDash app to the latest version in the App Store.
Turn on Precise Location by going to Settings → DoorDash → Location.
This helps us confirm that you’re at the restaurant when redeeming your deals.
If the issue seems to be on the restaurant’s side or your deal doesn’t apply correctly, please submit a Going Out support ticket through the Going Out deal page.
Q: Can I use Going Out for delivery?
No — Going Out deals are for in-person ordering only. Order directly with the restaurant, NOT through the DoorDash app.
