The following Gift Card Terms and Conditions describe the terms and conditions that apply to use of the DoorDash Gift Cards (the “Gift Cards”). These Gift Card Terms and Conditions are between you, the Cardholder, and DoorDash Giftcards LLC (“DDGC”), a Virginia limited liability company. By purchasing, accepting, or using a Gift Card, you agree to both these terms and conditions (the “Gift Card Terms and Conditions”) and also the DoorDash Terms and Conditions, including the arbitration and class waiver provision therein (collectively with the Gift Card Terms and Conditions, the “Terms and Conditions”). If you do not agree with the Terms and Conditions, do not purchase, use, or accept the Gift Card.
The Gift Cards are closed-loop gift cards; the Gift Cards are not debit or credit cards. The Gift Cards are issued by DDGC, and DDGC is the sole legal obligor to the Cardholder; provided, however, that DDGC may assign its obligations with respect to the Gift Card at any time, in which case such assignee shall become the issuer and sole legal obligor to the Cardholder. DoorDash, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates other than DDGC (collectively, “DoorDash”) bear no responsibility or liability for any Gift Cards, and you hereby knowingly release DoorDash from any and all liability or claims of any nature whatsoever arising in connection with the Gift Card.
You can purchase Gift Cards with, or without, a DoorDash account. However, you must have a DoorDash account to redeem Gift Cards. You may redeem Gift Cards only towards any eligible order placed on www.doordash.com or through the DoorDash mobile app in the United States. DoorDash reserves the right to change the eligible orders at its sole discretion. Gift Cards will not expire. No fees apply to Gift Cards. We further reserve the right to deactivate, cancel or suspend Gift Cards when we suspect fraud, unlawful activity, or any violation of the Terms and Conditions.
Gift Cards may not be returned and are not redeemable for cash except when required by applicable law. Gift Cards may not be resold. Gift Card amounts may not be increased or reloaded. When you make a purchase with a Gift Card that has a balance that is less than the total purchase price, the difference must be paid using another form of payment available in your account.
A Gift Card is valid only if obtained directly from the DoorDash website or from an authorized third-party distributor. A Gift Card is not valid and will not be honored, and DDGC will not be liable, if obtained from unauthorized sellers or resellers, including through Internet auction sites.
Lost, damaged or stolen Gift Cards will not be replaced or replenished. DDGC is not responsible for unauthorized Gift Card use.
You may not purchase or obtain multiple Gift Cards with a value of more than $10,000 in any one day.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF LAW THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE TO ANYONE FOR ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY TYPE OR KIND IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH GIFT CARDS. THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DAMAGE OR INJURY WHICH MAY BE INCURRED BY YOU, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH GIFT CARDS, EVEN IF THE COMPANY AND/OR ITS LICENSORS HAVE BEEN PREVIOUSLY ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMISSIBLE BY LAW, IN THE EVENT A GIFT CARD IS NON-FUNCTIONAL, YOUR SOLE REMEDY, AND OUR SOLE LIABILITY, WILL BE THE REPLACEMENT OF THAT GIFT CARD.
You agree that any dispute or claim relating in any way to Gift Cards will be resolved by binding arbitration, rather than in court in accordance with the DoorDash Terms and Conditions. Please review the DoorDash Terms and Conditions carefully to understand how disputes will be resolved and your right to opt out.
DDGC reserves the right to change these Gift Card Terms and Conditions from time to time in its discretion without special notice to you. Notice of changes will be by reasonable means, which may be by the posting of the revised version of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions on this website (“Updated Terms”). Your use of a Gift Card after DDGC has posted the Updated Terms constitutes your agreement to the Updated Terms. The Updated Terms will be effective as of the time of posting, or such later date as may be specified in the Updated Terms and will apply to your use of a Gift Card from that point forward. The date of the last update to these Gift Card Terms and Conditions is always indicated near the top of the page, and any change in the date of these Gift Card Terms and Conditions shall constitute notice to you that the Gift Card Terms and Conditions have changed.
