Overview of Ads Manager
Note: Ads Manager is available for restaurants with 125 or more locations. If your business has fewer than 125 locations, learn about advertising in the Marketing tab of Merchant Portal here.
Ads Manager is the centralized platform where eligible restaurant advertisers create, manage, and measure their DoorDash Ads campaigns. From one place, you can launch campaigns, organize by store or franchise group, set budgets and targeting, and track performance in real time.

How to access Ads Manager
To get started, log in to Ads Manager using your DoorDash account credentials.
Note that in order to access Ads Manager, you need to be added to an eligible DoorDash Ads account by an account admin or DoorDash representative. The features and accounts you can access depend on your business structure, assigned role, and permissions.
Once logged in, you'll be able to:
View campaign performance
Create new campaigns
Manage stores, budgets, and targeting
Access reporting
See customer insights
If you don't have access, contact your DoorDash representative or ask an account admin to add you as a user.
What’s in Ads Manager

Ads Manager is organized around key workflows:
Performance
The Performance tab provides a centralized view of your advertising and business performance on DoorDash, including:
Ads Summary or Promo Summary views
Campaign performance reporting
Performance by Daypart
Category Share insights
Brand Sales Growth reporting
These views help you understand campaign effectiveness, identify performance trends, evaluate category position, and measure business growth on DoorDash.
Filter performance by date range, campaign status, franchise, store, market, or owner to analyze results across different parts of your business.
Ads Manager includes both campaign performance and business performance views.
Campaign performance helps you understand how your ads are performing
Business performance helps you evaluate broader DoorDash performance, including organic and ads-related results where available
Customer Insights
The Customer Insights tab helps you understand how customers interact with your restaurant on DoorDash.
Customer Insights includes views such as:
Customer breakdown
Customer purchase trends
Customer long-term value
Campaigns
The Campaigns tab is where you can view and manage your restaurant advertising campaigns.
In the Campaigns tab, you can:
Create new campaigns
View all Sponsored Listings and Promotions campaigns, including active, paused, and completed
Access campaign-level and ad group-level details
Edit campaign details
Manage campaign budgets and schedules
Campaigns control the broader campaign setup, including schedule, budget, and the stores the campaign budget can spend against. Ad groups let you define more specific settings, such as bids, bid strategy, audience targeting, dayparting, and store subsets.
Reports
The Reports tab is where you can create and download reporting to analyze performance outside of Ads Manager.
Depending on your business type, account setup, and available features, you may be able to create reports such as:
Marketing reports
Campaign Report
Ad Group Report
Placement Report
Targeting Report
Business reports
Product Sales Report
Category Share Report
Interest Insights Report
Create reports to analyze campaign performance, measure business growth, evaluate category position, and identify customer and product trends.
For more detailed reporting guidance, see the articles on Ads Manager Report Builder and Ads performance metrics.
Settings
The Settings tab is where eligible users can manage account-level details, including users and permissions.
The Settings tab allows admins to:
Add users
Remove users
Update user roles
Manage billing or account settings
Access in Ads Manager is determined by both a user's account type and user role.
Account types define which part of the business a user can access. Depending on your organization, users may be assigned to accounts such as:
Business
Franchise Group
Franchise
DMA
Store
User roles define what actions a user can perform within their assigned account.
Common roles include:
Admin: Can manage campaigns, users, billing, and account settings
Marketer: Can create and manage campaigns, but doesn't have access to billing or account settings
Analyst: Can view performance and reporting
Assign user roles based on the appropriate account type and role based on the level of access they need.
