Navigating the DoorDash Activation Process
How do I know where I am in the DoorDash onboarding process?
To track your onboarding status, log into the Merchant Portal and you will see your activation status in your Homepage.
You will see different steps depending on if you selected a DoorDash tablet, or POS as your primary order protocol.
What is the Tablet protocol activation process?
Banking Information

The tracker will inform you once your Banking information is verified.
If there are any issues with your banking information, you can update this information in Bank Account, under Settings in your Merchant Portal navigation bar.
You can also contact Merchant Support for assistance.
Menu Creation

The tracker will inform you when your Menu is ready to view and edit. An email will be sent once your menu is ready.
If there are any issues with your menu, the tracker will prompt you to update your menu source. Once the menu source has been updated, we will go ahead and create your menu.
Tablet Delivery

For merchants that chose to receive a DoorDash tablet, the tracker will update you when your tablet is shipped and provides a tracking link to track your delivery.
An email will be sent to you once the Tablet has been shipped and delivered.
What is the POS protocol activation process?
DoorDash Integration is added

The tracker will inform you once DoorDash has been integrated with your POS/middlewear provider.
Menu creation and review

The tracker will inform you when your Menu is ready to view and edit. An email will be sent once your menu is ready.
If there are any issues with your menu, the tracker will prompt you to update your menu source. Once the menu source has been updated, we will go ahead and create your menu.
POS Integration completed

The tracker will let you know once DoorDash and your POS provider have fully integrated with each other and you are able to receive orders.
How do I go live?

Once your menu is created, banking information has been verified, and your order protocol is set up, you are ready to go live.
If you are not ready to go live yet, you can schedule the date you would like to launch your store on DoorDash.
After you activate, a banner will appear confirming that your store is activated on DoorDash and you are ready to receive orders. The tracker will disappear if you log into the portal after activating your store.
