Overview
This limited-time pilot offers select DoorDash Crimson users in the Detroit area exclusive cash back deals at over 200 local spots — including restaurants and convenience stores.
During the pilot, DoorDash Crimson users will be able to earn cash back on everyday purchases just by paying with their DoorDash Crimson Visa® Debit Card. Whether it’s a quick bite at Leo’s Coney Island or picking up essentials at CVS, these deals allow the DoorDash Crimson Card to work harder for everyday users participating in the pilot — all without coupons, promo codes, or extra steps.
This pilot is part of DoorDash’s effort to bring more value to Crimson users through localized deals and rewards. It’s simple, automatic, and designed to help you get more out of your spending.
How It Works
Find Local Deals. Open the Dasher app and head to the Earnings tab. From there, tap on ‘DoorDash Crimson’, then ‘Explore nearby deals’ to browse merchants near you.
Make a Purchase. Shop or dine at any participating business. When you pay with your DoorDash Crimson Card, your purchase at a participating merchant or business will automatically qualify if it meets the deal’s minimum spend requirement.
Get Your Cash Back. No need to track or claim anything — your cash back will be automatically added to your cash back rewards balance within the DoorDash Crimson Hub. Cash back typically appears within 3 days but may take up to 10 days.

What is this limited time pilot?
This limited time pilot(1) is only available to select DoorDash Crimson users and offers exclusive cash back(2) deals from local merchants and businesses in the Greater Detroit area.
This includes restaurants and convenience stores. These local deals allow Dashers to save money on their everyday purchases by earning cash back when they shop at a participating merchant or business, provided they meet the minimum spend requirement. Limited to one transaction per participating merchant per day.

Reward offer limits and conditions apply and cash back rewards on gas is limited to $700 in total spend per calendar month, at the pump only. Gas merchant classification subject to Visa rules. Cash back rewards will be eligible to redeem in the DoorDash Crimson Hub in the Earnings tab of the Dasher app after purchase.

How are cash back deals paid out?
Cash back from local deals in your area are automatically added to the ‘cash back rewards’ balance in the DoorDash Crimson experience. It will take at least 3 days for the cash back deals to be reflected, but in some cases, it may take up to 10 days.
How will you know if you received your cash back?
Cash back from local deals will be automatically reflected in the ‘cash back rewards’ balance in the DoorDash Crimson experience within the Earnings tab of the Dasher app.
What counts towards the minimum spend requirement?
The full transaction amount will be counted (including tax + tip).
Is there a limit to how many times you can redeem a cash back deal?
Cash back deals are limited to one transaction per store per day.
What if a cash back deal was not paid out even though it looks like you should have qualified?
