VIP Delivery Terms and Conditions

VIP Delivery: For a limited time, select DashPass members in the United States will be eligible to receive a premium VIP delivery offer on select eligible DashPass orders (VIP Delivery). VIP Delivery will enable select DashPass members to enjoy the following benefits on eligible restaurant orders at no additional cost:

  • Money-back guarantee for orders containing missing or defective items.

  • On-time delivery promise.

  • Free upgrade to Express Delivery (when available).

  • Priority support.

  • Allocation to Top Dashers.

VIP Delivery is not available to all DashPass members, but only to select DashPass members as determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion. You’ll see a notification in your DoorDash app if you are eligible for VIP Delivery. If you pause or cancel your DashPass subscription at any time, you will lose access to VIP Delivery. DoorDash reserves the right to revoke eligibility for VIP Delivery at any time without notice. VIP Delivery benefits are only available on select restaurant delivery orders as determined by DoorDash.

Eligible orders: VIP Delivery is available only on eligible restaurant delivery orders from merchants participating in the DashPass program in the United States. Orders must have a subtotal of at least twelve dollars ($12), excluding fees and taxes. DoubleDash, Pickup, group, Merchant-fulfilled, Drive, and scheduled orders are not eligible. DoorDash may amend the eligibility requirements for VIP Delivery orders at any time without notice.

Money back guarantee: On eligible orders (as determined by DoorDash), DashPass members may contact DoorDash support and request a remedy if any item that has been ordered is not delivered or is defective. The remedies available at no additional cost include (at your election):

  • Refund - A refund to the original payment method for the value of the affected item(s);

  • Redelivery - Redelivery of the affected item(s); or

  • Credits - DoorDash credits in an amount greater than the value of the affected item(s).

Eligibility for this benefit, and the form and amount of any remedy, will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion.

On time delivery: On eligible orders (as determined by DoorDash from time to time), VIP Delivery includes an on-time delivery guarantee. If your order is delivered ten (10) minutes or more after the latest time in the delivery window displayed at checkout, you will automatically receive a ten-dollar ($10) DoorDash credit as an apology for the delay. This benefit applies only if you do not change or amend the delivery address after checkout. Eligibility for this benefit, and issuance of any credits, will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion.

Express Delivery Upgrade: On eligible orders with a subtotal of $12 or more (excluding fees and taxes), DashPass members will receive a free upgrade to Express delivery (when it is available). Express delivery means that your orders will not be batched with any other DoorDash orders. Other fees (including delivery and service fees) may apply. The Express delivery upgrade will only be applied to select restaurant orders and at select participating stores and is not available for redemption on all orders.

Top Dasher: On eligible orders (as determined by DoorDash from time to time), VIP Delivery may include assignment of a “Top Dasher” to complete your order. A Top Dasher is a highly rated, experienced Dasher selected by DoorDash to complete your order. Eligibility for this benefit, and availability of TopDasher assignment, will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion and is not guaranteed for every order.

Priority support: VIP Delivery may include access to priority support. If you contact DoorDash support about an eligible order, your case will be routed to specially trained support agents with enhanced tools and permissions to resolve issues more quickly and effectively. Eligibility for this benefit, and the availability of Priority Support, will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion and is not guaranteed for every order.

Modification of terms: DoorDash reserves the right to modify, suspend, terminate, cancel, or discontinue the VIP Delivery offer at any time without any notice. In the event of termination or modification of the VIP Delivery offer, customers will not be entitled to any substitute, credit, or compensation.

Fraud and misconduct: DoorDash reserves the right to revoke or suspend eligibility from the VIP Delivery offer if DoorDash believes in its sole discretion that the user is (or is attempting to) act fraudulently or in bad faith when seeking to redeem the VIP Delivery benefit. DoorDash may also refuse to award or revoke a customer’s refund or DoorDash credits at any time without notice if DoorDash believes that the customer has obtained the refund or credits in a fraudulent manner.

General: VIP Delivery is subject to the DoorDash Consumer Terms and Conditions. The offer is only available for select DashPass members in the US, as determined by DoorDash, VIP Delivery is not available to all DashPass members. Eligibility for VIP Delivery benefits, and the form, timing, and amount of any remedy or credit, will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion. DashPass benefits apply only to eligible orders from DashPass merchants that meet the minimum subtotal requirement, excluding fees and taxes. Subtotal minimums will be identified for each DashPass merchant on DoorDash.VIP Delivery benefits cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers or discounts. The VIP Delivery offer is available only to select DashPass users, as indicated in their accounts.
