HBO Max x DashPass Annual Plan Subscription Offer Terms & Condition
Effective Date: November 17, 2025
DoorDash is pleased to offer its DashPass Annual Plan subscribers (“Eligible Subscribers”) in the U.S. only (including Puerto Rico) access to a HBO Max Basic With Ads subscription (ad-supported offering), at no additional cost (“HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription”). Eligible Subscribers must activate their HBO Max Basic with Ads Subscription in their DoorDash account by no later than December 16, 2025 (“Activation End Date”). If Eligible subscribers fail to activate their HBO Max Basic with Ads Subscription by the Activation End Date, they will no longer be eligible to enroll in the HBO Max Basic with Ads Subscription.
Eligible Subscribers also have the option to upgrade to a HBO Max Standard subscription for an additional monthly fee (“HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription”) at a discounted rate (plus applicable taxes) which will be published at the time of sign up (the “HBO Max Standard Subscription” and collectively with the “HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription” referred to herein as “HBO Max”). Eligible Subscribers must upgrade their HBO Max Standard Subscription in their DoorDash account by no later than the Activation End Date. If Eligible subscribers fail to upgrade to HBO Max Standard Subscription by the Activation End Date, they will no longer be eligible to enroll in the HBO Max Standard Subscription.
Eligible Subscribers who activate the HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription and HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription on or before the Activation End Date, will receive the HBO Max benefit until the end of their current DashPass Annual Plan billing cycle. This will be the case whether the Eligible Subscriber’s billing cycle commenced before or after the Effective Date of these Terms and Conditions. For example:
If an Eligible Subscriber signs up to DashPass Annual Plan on December 15, 2025 and activates the HBO Max benefit on the same day they will receive the HBO Max benefit until December 14, 2026 (i.e., the HBO Max benefit will be available for the customer’s current billing cycle);
If an Eligible Subscriber signs up to DashPass Annual Plan on November 1, 2025 and activates the HBO Max benefit on December 15, 2025, they will receive the HBO Max benefit until October 31, 2026 (i.e., the HBO Max benefit will be available for the customer’s current billing cycle and not for the 12 months following activation of the HBO Max benefit).
No Eligible Subscriber will be entitled to any renewal, extension, or proration of the HBO Max benefit beyond the end of their current DashPass Annual Plan billing cycle.
The HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription and HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription are not available to subscribers on any DashPass Monthly Plan, Student DashPass Plan, DashPass partnership plan (including but not limited to a Chase DashPass plan, Chegg DashPass plan, or any T-Mobile DashPass plan), or the DoorDash Rewards Mastercard DashPass plan (including both free and paid versions).
If an Eligible Subscriber upgrades to the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription, an additional monthly fee (plus applicable taxes), separate from the DashPass Annual Plan subscription fee, will be billed to the Eligible Subscriber directly by DoorDash. SUBSCRIBERS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED THE THEN-CURRENT UPGRADE SUBSCRIPTION FEE (PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAXES) ON A RECURRING MONTHLY BASIS UNTIL THEY CANCEL THE HBO MAX STANDARD UPGRADE SUBSCRIPTION. The DashPass subscription fee and/or HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription fee will be charged to any payment method in an Eligible Subscriber’s DoorDash account. If an Eligible Subscriber selects a payment method for their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription that is different than the payment method previously used for their DashPass Annual Plan subscription, the payment method used for the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription will become the Eligible Subscriber’s default payment method for the DashPass Annual Plan as well. Eligible Subscribers may update their default payment method in their DashPass account at any time. The additional monthly fee for the Max Standard Upgrade Subscription, which may change from time to time, will be published during the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription activation process.
Eligible Subscribers may downgrade or cancel their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription at any time through the “Manage DashPass” section in their DoorDash account. Upon cancellation of the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription, Eligible Subscribers will retain their access to that subscription until the end of their then-current HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription billing cycle but will not be able to re-enroll into the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription following the downgrade. HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription fees are non-refundable except as otherwise stated herein.
Eligible Subscribers must activate their HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or upgrade to their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription through their DoorDash account. Limit one redemption per DashPass account.
The Eligible Subscriber must remain an active DashPass Annual Plan subscriber to retain access to the HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription. Eligible Subscribers may cancel their HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription at any time by visiting the “Manage DashPass” section in their DoorDash account. If an Eligible Subscriber cancels their DashPass Annual Plan subscription, the Eligible Subscriber’s HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription, as applicable, will terminate when the Eligible Subscriber’s DashPass Annual Plan expires (i.e., typically at the end of the current DashPass Annual Plan billing cycle, or immediately upon cancellation if during a Trial Subscription (as defined below)). Eligible Subscribers will receive a prorated refund for any remaining, unused time in their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription that extends after the expiration of their DashPass Annual Plan subscription. If DoorDash is unable to successfully charge any payment method in an Eligible Subscriber’s DoorDash account for the Eligible Subscriber’s DashPass Annual Plan subscription fee, any HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription will end immediately; the Eligible Subscriber will receive a prorated refund for any remaining, unused time that remained in their HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription. The Eligible Subscriber may subsequently reactivate either their HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription or the HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription after they successfully renew their DashPass Annual Plan subscription if reactivation is complete on or before the Activation End Date.
DoorDash reserves the right to modify, remove, or cancel this offer and/or access to HBO Max subscriptions (including the HBO Max Basic with Ads Subscription and HBO Max Standard Upgrade Subscription), including the eligibility requirements, at any time. From time to time, DoorDash may make the HBO Max Basic With Ads Subscription available to Eligible Subscribers, as part of the DashPass Annual Plan, on a free trial basis for no more than thirty (30) days in a calendar year (each, a “Trial Subscription”). The duration of each Trial Subscription will be specified at sign-up. Trial Subscriptions are limited to new DashPass subscribers, unless otherwise specified. An Eligible Subscriber’s status as a new subscriber will be determined by DoorDash, in its sole discretion. UNLESS YOU TIMELY CANCEL YOUR TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION BEFORE THE END OF YOUR FREE TRIAL, YOUR TRIAL SUBSCRIPTION WILL CONVERT TO A PAID SUBSCRIPTION AT THE END OF YOUR FREE TRIAL AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE THEN-CURRENT DASHPASS RENEWAL FEE (PLUS APPLICABLE TAXES) AUTOMATICALLY, ON A RECURRING ANNUAL, BASIS UNTIL YOU CANCEL.
DashPass order benefits apply only to eligible orders from DashPass merchants that meet the minimum subtotal requirement. Subtotal minimums will be identified on DoorDash for each DashPass eligible merchant. Other fees (including service fee), taxes, and gratuity still apply. DASHPASS SUBSCRIBERS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE CHARGED THE THEN-CURRENT PRICE (NOW $96/YEAR) PLUS ANY APPLICABLE TAXES ON A RECURRING ANNUAL BASIS UNTIL THEY CANCEL.
