Dine Out Rewards with DashPass
DashPass members can now earn DoorDash credits when they dine in at select local restaurants. Simply link a card to your DoorDash account and pay in person — your credits will appear automatically.
How It Works
When you dine at participating restaurants using a linked card, you can earn DoorDash credits in two ways:
First-time visits: Get up to $15 back in DoorDash credits when you claim the offer in the app and try a participating restaurant for the first time.
Ongoing rewards: Get 5% back in DoorDash credits on every in-store purchase at participating restaurants.
Credits are automatically deposited into your DoorDash account after you pay.
Eligibility Requirements
To use Dine Out Rewards, you must:
Be an active DashPass subscriber
Have a Visa or Mastercard card linked to your DoorDash account
Dine at a participating restaurant, as shown in the DoorDash app
Note: Other payment methods such as Pin Debit, PayPal, and Venmo are not eligible.
Getting Started
Open the DoorDash app and tap the “Dine Out” or “Going Out” section.
Link your eligible card when prompted.
Explore participating restaurants near you and, for a first-time visit offer, claim the offer in the app.
Pay in person with your linked card.
Receive DoorDash credits automatically — no need to track anything manually.

Do I need to claim an offer before dining?
Yes. For first-time visit offers (up to $15 back), make sure to tap “Claim” in the app before you go. The 5% back reward applies automatically after your first visit, as long as your card is linked.
What types of cards are supported?
Only Visa and Mastercard cards can be linked. Prepaid cards, debit-only cards, or other payment methods (like Apple Pay) are not eligible.
Can I use my debit card?
Yes, you can use a debit card using one of the networks listed. However, the transaction must be processed through the credit networks. Select “credit” instead of “debit” if given the option on the terminal or ask the staff to run it as credit. Any PIN based transactions are not eligible.
How do I know which restaurants are participating?
Participating restaurants are listed in the DoorDash app under the “Dine Out” section. You'll see clear reward details on each restaurant’s page.
When will I receive my credits?
Credits are typically deposited into your DoorDash account immediately after you pay with your linked card though in some cases it may take up to 24 hours. You’ll see a notification and can track them in the “My Stuff” section of the app.
Can I remove a card or stop participating?
Yes. You can manage or unlink cards from your account at any time in the DoorDash app.
