How DoorDash Marketing Credits Work
What are Marketing Credits?
Marketing Credits are DoorDash-provided funds you can use toward eligible marketing campaigns to help grow your business.
There are no hidden fees or long-term commitments, and you can pause or end your campaigns at any time.
What types of Marketing Credits are available?
There are three types of Marketing Credits:
Trial credits: One-time credits provided by DoorDash to help you try marketing with less risk.
Reward credits: Eligible merchants can earn 5% back each month on qualifying merchant-funded Sponsored Listings spend, which can be reinvested into active Sponsored Listings. Reward credits are currently available to select merchants as part of a pilot.
General credits: Flexible, one-time credits provided by DoorDash for select operational needs.
How do I view my Marketing Credits?
You can view your available Marketing Credits in your Marketing Wallet:
Log in to the Merchant Portal.
Go to Marketing > Run a campaign or Marketing > Campaigns.
Open Wallet in the top-right corner of the page.
Your Marketing Wallet shows your available credits, expiration dates, and which marketing campaigns are eligible for each credit.

How are Marketing Credits applied?
Marketing Credits are automatically applied to eligible campaigns before your own budget is used.
Credits are turned on by default for new campaigns.
If you have multiple eligible campaigns, credits may be distributed across them.
You can turn credits off or back on using the toggle during campaign setup or in your campaign settings.
If you have an active campaign with credits turned on, newly issued eligible credits will be applied automatically.
You can check which campaigns are eligible for each credit in your Marketing Wallet.

What happens when my Marketing Credits are used?
Once your Marketing Credits are used, your campaign continues under standard billing. You only pay when your campaign leads to an order, and you can pause or end your campaign at any time.
When do Marketing Credits expire?
Expiration dates vary by credit type. Check your Marketing Wallet to see when your available credits expire.
Why don't I see some credits in my Marketing Wallet?
Some credits issued by your DoorDash sales representative may not appear in your Marketing Wallet. Instead, they'll appear in the Financials tab and your campaign's Performance tab once redeemed.
Contact your sales representative if you have questions about these credits.
