What is Fast Pay?
Fast Pay gives Dashers in Australia the ability to cash out their earnings daily for a small fee of of $0.99. This means Dashers can receive their earnings on demand through DoorDash, rather than waiting for their weekly direct deposit.
In order to use the Fast Pay service, you must have a debit card. Prepaid cards are not eligible.
For account protection, Fast Pay is disabled for 7 days after you either (1) add your debit card to Fast Pay for the first time, or (2) update the debit card you have on file. In order to help ensure that DoorDash remains a secure platform for Dashers, we are unfortunately unable to bypass this security layer to enable Fast Pay during this period.

Am I Eligible?
To be eligible to use Fast Pay to cash out your earnings daily, you must meet the following requirements:
You’ve completed at least 25 lifetime deliveries
You’ve been on the DoorDash platform for at least two weeks (14 days) since activation
You set up Fast Pay and added your debit card at least 7 days ago, so the 7-day processing period is no longer in effect
You haven’t updated your debit card information within the past 7 days (including re-entering your debit card information)
Where is Fast Pay available?
Fast Pay is available to all Australian Dashers. Currently, we can provide Fast Pay for Australian Dashers with debit cards issued by the following banks.

How do I sign up?
Visit the Earnings section of your app and click the bank icon at the top of the screen to view your payout methods.
Ensure your Direct Deposit is linked to your personal bank account, and then click “Fast Pay”.
From there, enter the requested details for your debit card.
You must have an account with a linked debit card from one of the banks mentioned above to use Fast Pay.
Please note that there is a 7-day processing period before you can start using Fast Pay. In order to help ensure that DoorDash remains a secure platform for Dashers, we are unfortunately unable to bypass this security layer to enable Fast Pay during this period.
How do I cash out?
Once you’ve signed up and have waited the 7-day processing period, click the “Deposits and Transfers” link on the Earnings tab of your Dasher app. There, you will see the “Cash out with Fast Pay” button. Click on that “Cash out with Fast Pay” button to transfer your week’s earnings directly to your debit card account. There’s a small fee of $0.99 to cash out, and you can only do so once a day.

What can I cash out using Fast Pay?
You can cash out your entire earnings balance, except for earnings from Dashes that are currently in progress.
How can I update my debit card information?
Before you proceed, please note that for your protection, Fast Pay will be disabled for 7 days after you update the debit card you already have on file. In order to help ensure that DoorDash remains a secure platform for Dashers, we are unfortunately unable to bypass this security layer to enable Fast Pay during this period.

When will I receive my Fast Pay earnings in my bank account?
Transfers usually happen within minutes, but they can take up to a few business days to appear on your debit card depending on your bank’s processing time.
How will Fast Pay appear in my account?
You will receive an email confirmation for each completed Fast Pay transaction, which will show the amount transferred to you via Fast Pay.
What do I need to sign up for Fast Pay?
You’ll need your personal bank account details and an active debit card. Unfortunately, you cannot use a prepaid card at this time.
I don’t have access to Fast Pay right now. What’s up?
You might not have Fast Pay because:
You do not have an active Dasher account.
You have any kind of withholdings drawn from your account.
Your debit card account has a negative balance.
You have already cashed out with Fast Pay today.
You are not in Australia.
You don’t have a bank account with a partner bank.
Your Fast Pay has been disabled for 7 days after either (1) setting up Fast Pay for the first time or (2) updating your debit card information.
If your Fast Pay is currently disabled, the 7-day processing period cannot be expedited by anyone on the DoorDash team. Otherwise, if you believe you should have access to Fast Pay, please let us know by contacting our support team.
Using Fast Pay
Can I cash out whenever I want?
Yes, you can cash out at any time, up to once per day. Do note that any earnings in your balance that you don’t cash out by midnight on Sunday will be deposited in your bank account (with a 2-3 day processing period) as a weekly direct deposit.
I just signed up for Fast Pay and want to cash out, but I can’t. Why not?
If you just signed up for Fast Pay and added your debit card information, there is a 7-day processing period while we verify your account. On the 8th day, you can cash out with Fast Pay. In order to help ensure that DoorDash remains a secure platform for Dashers, we are unfortunately unable to bypass this security layer to enable Fast Pay during this period.
Why isn’t the app letting me cash out today?
You can only cash out with Fast Pay once per day.
For account protection, you will not be able to use Fast Pay for 7 calendar days after any changes are made to your debit card information. This processing period cannot be expedited by anyone on the DoorDash team.
If you receive an email alerting you of changes to your Fast Pay details that you did not make, be sure to immediately change your password, correct the debit card information on the Earnings tab of your app and contact our support team.
I want to cash out, but my available cash balance is $0. What happened?
Any earnings not transferred via Fast Pay by Sunday at midnight will be paid to you as usual in your regular weekly direct deposit, 2-3 business days later.
Why doesn’t my Fast Pay amount match my total earnings?
Your balance to cash out includes only completed dashes. Once you complete your dash, you should see your new total earnings.
I tried to cash out after one Dash, but it’s not working. Why not?
Your Dash may still be processing. As soon as it is done processing, your earnings will be available.
Can I cancel a transfer?
No. If you cash out your earnings, you won’t be able to cancel the cash transfer to a debit card.
It’s just not working. Why?
Make sure you have the latest version of the Dasher app. Also note that some banks limit debit card transfers per day for security reasons, so if you have a lot of transfers in one day, Fast Pay may not work.
Fast pay will fail if your debit card account has a negative balance.
