What is the Pick the Champion Promotion?
Pick the Champ is a DoorDash promotion running alongside the FIFA World Cup 2026™ during the Summer of DashPass, where customers can predict which team will win the Final tournament on July 19. If your team wins, you'll split a prize pool with everyone else who picked correctly — $5,000,000 USD for U.S. participants and $1,000,000 CAD for Canadian participants, paid out in DoorDash credits.
To enter through the app, you'll need an active DashPass membership and must lock in your pick with 1 eligible order between May 28 and June 10, 2026. No purchase is necessary to enter — see the Official Rules (U.S.) or Official Rules (Canada) for alternative method of entry details.
Credits will be distributed to winners after the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Final concludes and are subject to DoorDash's standard promotional terms and conditions.
Is Pick the Champion available in Canada and the US?
Yes, Pick the Champion is available to eligible users in both the US and Canada. US participants will have a chance to split a $5,000,000 DoorDash credits prize pool, and Canadian participants will have a chance to split a $1,000,000 CAD DoorDash credits prize pool.
When does the Pick the Champion promotion run?
The Pick the Champion promotion is open from May 28, 2026, through June 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT. You must make your team selection and lock it in before June 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT — no picks will be accepted after that date.
Do I need a DashPass membership to participate?
Order-based entry is available to active DashPass members only. However, DashPass is not required to participate — a free alternative method of entry is available to everyone. See the Official Rules for the alternate method entry for your region:

Where can I find the Pick the Champion opportunity in the app?
Eligible users will be able to select their team through the MeTab and placements on the homepage.
Can I change my team selection once the FIFA World Cup 2026™ games begin?
No, your team selection is final as soon as you’ve completed your order and locked in the team selection. Team selection is not available after June 10th, 2026. This applies to both entry methods — whether you entered via a qualifying order or the free alternative method of entry, your team selection is final once submitted and cannot be changed.
Can I enter more than once?
No — each person is limited to one entry for the duration of the promotion, regardless of how many orders you place or mail-in entries you submit. Placing additional orders or submitting additional mail-in cards beyond the first will not earn you additional entries or improve your chances of winning.
Are the winnings paid out in cash?
No — winnings are paid out as DoorDash credits, not cash. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash and are subject to DoorDash's standard credits terms. U.S. winners will share a $5,000,000 DoorDash credits prize pool; Canadian winners will share a $1,000,000 CAD DoorDash credits prize pool, split evenly among all winners.
Is there a maximum credit amount that can be awarded?
No — the prize pool will be split evenly among all eligible participants who picked the winning team. Individual prize amounts will vary based on the total number of winners.
Will I receive a confirmation when my pick is locked in?
Yes — once you've made your team selection and placed your qualifying order, you will receive a confirmation email and a push notification confirming that your pick has been locked in and you've been entered into the prize pool. If you do not receive this email, your entry may not have been completed. Check the Official Rules for your region for entry requirements:

Note: If you entered via the free alternative mail-in method, you will not receive a confirmation email. To confirm your entry was received, refer to the Official Rules for details on the mail-in process.
How will I know if my team won and I'm getting credits?
If your team wins the FIFA World Cup Final, you will receive a notification email on or around July 23, 2026, confirming that you are a winner. Your DoorDash credits will then be deposited into your account between July 23 and July 27, 2026.
I'm a Canadian resident — is there anything extra I need to do if I win?
Yes — Canadian winners are required to correctly answer a skill-testing question before their prize can be awarded. Further instructions will be provided at the time of winner notification. See the Canadian Official Rules for full details.
Why does it say “No purchase necessary” when it is asking me to complete an order to lock in my pick?
No purchase is necessary to participate. Although DashPass members can conveniently lock in their pick by completing an eligible order, a free alternative method of entry is also available. Making a purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
