GovX x DashPass: General FAQs

Q: What is DashPass? 

A: DashPass is a membership program offered by DoorDash that unlocks savings and exclusive benefits. DoorDash and GovX are now partnering to offer discounted DashPass on GovX    

Standard DashPass membership benefits include: 

  • Reduced Fees: $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders  

  • Best Selection: Access to thousands of local and national favorites in your neighborhood  

  • Grocery Savings: Reduced fees on eligible grocery delivery orders, including everyday  essentials and more 

  • Pickup Perks: 5% back in DoorDash credits on eligible Pickup orders  

  • Exclusive Offers: Special access to member-only deals and items.

Q: How do I access GovX DashPass? 

A: You can see the latest offer and purchase DashPass memberships at an exclusive rate on the GovX benefits marketplace

  1. Navigate to GovX benefits marketplace by going to https://www.govx.com/

  2. Search for “DashPass” 

  3. Click “Redeem” to reveal a one-time-use redemption link. Paste this link in a separate browser.  

  4. You may be prompted to sign up or log into DoorDash. Do so for the DoorDash account to which you want to apply the DashPass membership to. 

  5. Click “Redeem” to accept terms & conditions and redeem. 

  6. The membership is now activated.

Q: Who can access GovX discounted DashPass plan?

A: Any GovX user who does not have an active DashPass membership can access this exclusive DashPass membership deal.  

Q: What if I don’t have a DoorDash account? 

A: It's no problem. Once you paste your redemption link into the browser, you can create a new DoorDash account and immediately apply the DashPass offer to that account.

Q: What if I already have DashPass? 

A: Unfortunately if you currently have DashPass, you are not eligible for this offer.  

Q: What happens if I currently have HBO Max with my DashPass Annual Plan?

A: Unfortunately, new DashPass memberships activated after Nov 15, 2025 will no longer have HBO Max included.   

Q: Does the GovX DashPass plan come with HBO Max? 

A: No, unfortunately HBO Max will no longer be part of new DashPass subscriptions after November 15, 2025. 

Q: When I try to redeem my GovX DashPass, I’m getting the error “This DashPass membership has already been claimed.” What do I do?

A: This error means this membership has already been redeemed and cannot be used again. Please sign out of GovX and log back in. You will receive a new link with a unique code. You will not be charged for the first redemption attempt 

Q: When I try to redeem my GovX DashPass, I’m getting the error “You are not eligible for this DashPass plan.” What do I do?

A: This error means you currently have  an active DashPass membership and therefore are not eligible for this plan 

Q: I activated the DashPass plan but haven’t put in my payment information yet. Did I do it right? 

A: If you saw the confirmation screen, you have successfully redeemed your GovX DashPass plan. Once you activated and have input a payment method, the DashPass membership plan will charge to the default payment method on your account or any other saved payment method you have on file with DoorDash

Q: I activated the DashPass plan. Where does the charge show up? 

A: Great! Once you activated and have input a payment method, the DashPass membership plan will charge to the default payment method on your account or any other saved payment method you have on file with DoorDash (if your default payment method fails). 

Q: What happens when my 13-month discounted GovX DashPass membership ends?  

A: Once your 13-month discounted Govx DashPass membership ends, your account will be automatically renewed to a standard annual DashPass plan. You will be automatically the then current membership fee, currently $96/year (plus tax) upon renewal unless the cancel beforehand. See cancellation instructions here.  You will still have access to the DashPass benefits. The charge for the membership fee will be made to the default payment method on your account or any other saved payment method you have on file with DoorDash (if your default payment method fails). 

Q: I'm not based in the US, can I access this perk?

A: Unfortunately, free DashPass is only available to users in the United States & Puerto Rico. We are not able to support international users at this time.
