How do I cancel my order?
Sometimes things come up, and we get that! The quickest way to cancel an order is by using the Self-Help function. Follow this link to cancel your order or see the instructions below on how to cancel an order in your mobile app or desktop:
Mobile app users
Select the order from the Orders tab
Tap "Help" in the top right-hand corner
Under the Help Menu select “Cancel Order” or click on the “Cancel Order” button in the Order Details section
Follow the prompts on the screen
Note: If there is an issue with your delivery (i.e. Dasher asked you to cancel or Restaurant is closed) and you are unable to address it through Self-Help, please contact a live agent.

Desktop users
You may cancel your order before it gets delivered. To cancel your order through the website, follow these steps:
Select the "Order" button in the bottom left-hand corner.
Select Orders and choose the live order you’d like to cancel
Select "Help" on the right-hand side
Select “Cancel Order”
Follow the prompts on the screen
Note: If there is an issue with your delivery (i.e. Dasher asked you to cancel or Restaurant is closed) and you are unable to address it through Self-Help, please contact a live agent.

Timeline: You may cancel your order before it gets delivered. Your eligibility for a refund or credits may depend on the status of the order (e.g., whether the merchant has confirmed the order, whether a Dasher has been assigned).
Decisions to provide any refunds or credits are in DoorDash's sole discretion and are subject to the DoorDash Consumer Terms & Conditions.
Generally, for orders that are not late:

Restaurant has not confirmed order and a Dasher has not been assigned | Full Refund |
Restaurant has not confirmed order but a Dasher has been assigned | Partial Refund |
Restaurant has confirmed order but a Dasher has not been assigned | Partial Refund |
Restaurant has confirmed order and a Dasher has been assigned | No Refund |
