What is DashPass?

DashPass benefits apply only to eligible orders from DashPass merchants that meet the minimum subtotal requirement, excluding fees and taxes. Subtotal minimums will be identified on DoorDash for each DashPass-eligible merchant.

My DashPass Benefits did not apply?

  • If you are a DashPass subscriber but your order does not meet the minimum basket subtotal, your DashPass benefits will not apply. Additionally, to make sure your order is eligible, look for the green DashPass icon underneath the merchant's name. In order to make sure benefits are applied correctly please follow these steps:

    • Check the DoorDash app or Doordash.com for restaurants near you that have the green checkmark.

  • DashPass Members get $0 delivery fees and reduced services fee on all eligible orders that meet the subtotal minimum as shown in the app.

  • DashPass subscribers save an average of $4-5 per eligible order. With new restaurants added and more on the way, you’ll spend more time picking the food you want and less time hunting for deals across delivery platforms.

I see an unauthorized charge of $9.99.

  • We know that seeing an unfamiliar charge on your account can be alarming. We're here to help. If you see an unknown charge:

    • Consider who else has access to your account. If a family member or partner has your login info, it's possible for them to place an order with your saved payment information from a different device.

    • If you don't have a DoorDash account, consider all parties with whom you have willingly shared credit card information. It's possible that they used your card to place an order with their own account.

    • If the bank statement says DoorDash DashPass or DashPass then it is a charge for our subscription service. You can verify the same by opening Manage DashPass Banner and check Billing History.

What else is included?

  • Subscribers enjoy exclusive member benefits, like priority customer support and DashPass-only promotions. When you subscribe to DashPass you will be able to redeem the benefits on both Caviar and DoorDash. ​​​​​​

Will my DashPass benefits apply to both Caviar and DoorDash?

  • Yes! Please use the same login information for both Caviar and DoorDash. Your DashPass benefits will automatically be available on both platforms.

Who is eligible for DashPass free trial?

  • We offer a free trial for users who have not previously tried DashPass (whether on a free or paid plan). Once your trial is over, you will be automatically enrolled in the membership plan you selected at sign-up and a payment method in your DoorDash account will be charged. Your membership will auto-renew on your membership billing date until you cancel. DoorDash may change the eligibility requirements for a free DashPass trial at any time without notice. What will happen if I cancel my free trial?

  • If you cancel during a trial period, your benefits will be terminated immediately. If you cancel after the billing date your subscription will be charged to your default payment method and DashPass benefits will be valid till the end of the billing cycle.

How much does it cost?

  • Get all of the above for just $9.99/month with the monthly plan or $96/year ($8/month) with the Annual Plan. With the Annual Plan, you save more upfront and with our monthly plan, it's a subscription without the commitment - you can cancel anytime.

How can I sign up for DashPass?

Mobile app users

To sign up for DashPass on the DoorDash app follow these steps:

  1. Open your DoorDash app

  2. Tap the account icon at the top of the screen

  3. Tap "Get $0 delivery fees with DashPass"

  4. DashPass benefits and a link to Terms and Conditions are displayed on the “Get DashPass” page

  5. The recurring monthly charge will be billed to the card displayed on screen (this is your default card on file with the last 4 digits displayed)

  6. You can change to a different card by clicking on Change

  7. Tap on “Get DashPass” button to sign up

  8. You will get an in-app confirmation after successfully signing up

  2. Click Account in the bottom left corner

  3. Select Get Free Deliveries

How can I use it?

  • Select an eligible restaurant and add items to your cart

  • Eligible restaurants are marked with a green checkmark

  • You can proceed to checkout after meeting the order minimum

  • If the DashPass subtotal order minimum was not met, the difference to reach the DashPass minimum will be displayed in the checkout page

  • DashPass savings will be displayed on the checkout page
