Q: What is the DashPass offer for Amazon Prime members?

A: Amazon.ca Prime members in Canada can get all the benefits of a DashPass membership for free. This offer is active as long as your Prime membership is active, and the free membership does not convert to a paid DashPass membership. Amazon customers in Canada can also order from DoorDash restaurants on the DoorDash digital store on Amazon. The offer is limited to one per customer and account and is non-transferable and may not be resold. See DashPass Terms.

Q: What if I’m not a Prime member?

A: If you’re not a Prime member, you can still order from DoorDash merchant restaurants via the DoorDash digital store using your Amazon account, but you will not be eligible for a free DashPass membership.

Q: Will Amazon share any of my personal information with DoorDash?

A: Yes. When you link your Amazon and DoorDash accounts, Amazon will share your Prime membership status and customer identification code with DoorDash so that DoorDash knows you are a Prime member. The collection and disclosure of your personal information will be done in accordance with the Amazon.ca Privacy Notice.

Q: What benefits do I receive with a free DashPass membership?

A: Your free access to DashPass includes unlimited $0 delivery fees, reduced service fees, and exclusive offers on eligible orders placed from DoorDash merchants that meet the subtotal minimum, as well as 5% DashPass credit back on eligible pickup orders. See DashPass Terms.

Q: How long does the free DashPass membership last?

A: As long as your Prime membership is active and this offer is available, you are eligible for a free DashPass membership.

Q: Are existing DoorDash members eligible for this offer?

A: Yes. Follow the redemption steps to activate your free DashPass membership. Once you activate this Prime-only offer, your existing DashPass membership will be cancelled. If you’ve already paid for a DashPass membership, you’ll receive a prorated refund for the unused portion of your current billing period calculated from the date you activate this offer:

  • For monthly plan subscribers: You’ll be refunded for the days remaining in your current billing month.

  • For annual subscribers: You’ll be refunded for the unused portion of your year.

Q: Who do I contact if I have an issue connecting my account?

A: First, verify that you are logged into Amazon. For questions about your Amazon Prime membership, contact Amazon customer service. For questions about your DoorDash account, DashPass membership, or DoorDash orders, contact DoorDash customer support.

Q: How do I place an order on the DoorDash digital store on Amazon?

A: If you have confirmed that you are logged in and have activated the offer, visit to start your order. You may still place DoorDash orders on Amazon even if you are not a Prime member by selecting "Continue without Prime". You will not receive the benefits of free DashPass (e.g. $0 delivery fees and reduced service fees on eligible orders).

Q: Will I be able to earn third party reward programs or benefits on purchases within the DoorDash digital store on Amazon?

A: Purchases made through the DoorDash digital store may be ineligible for third party reward programs or benefits. Contact us to find out more information.

Q: How do I unlink my Amazon and DoorDash accounts?

A: You can unlink your accounts at any time by visiting the “Manage apps & services with data access” within the “Your Account” page on Amazon and unlinking your DoorDash and Amazon accounts. Unlinking your Amazon account, however, will result in the termination of your free DashPass membership. If you would like to continue your DashPass membership, you can sign up for a paid DashPass membership.

Q: How do I cancel my free DashPass membership?

A: You can cancel at any time by visiting the “Manage DashPass” section in your DoorDash account settings or contacting DoorDash customer support. See DoorDash Cancellation Instructions. If you cancel your free DashPass, your DashPass membership and benefits will end immediately.

Q: What if I cancel my Amazon Prime membership?

A: If you cancel or pause your Amazon Prime membership or if your membership is otherwise terminated, your free DashPass membership and benefits will end immediately and will not be auto renewed to a paid DashPass membership. If you would like to continue your DashPass membership, you can sign up for a paid DashPass membership. If you choose to join Prime again, you will need to activate your free DashPass benefits again by visiting amazon.ca/DoorDash.

Q: If after redeeming the free DashPass membership, I decide that I want to delete my DoorDash account, what happens to my Prime x DashPass offer?

A: If you delete your DoorDash account, you will lose access to this offer. The offer is limited to one redemption per customer and account.

All Amazon.ca customers can order on the DoorDash digital store on Amazon, irrespective of their Prime membership. Only Amazon.ca Prime members in Canada are eligible to receive this free DashPass membership.

DashPass Offer Details

  • Amazon.ca Prime members can enjoy a FREE DashPass membership (normally $9.99/month) (plus tax) with Amazon Prime as long as your Prime membership is active.

  • DashPass members get exclusive benefits like $0 delivery fees and lower service fees on eligible delivery orders that meet the subtotal minimum (before taxes, fees, and any tip) from eligible merchants, 5% back in DashPass Credit on eligible pickup orders, and access to exclusive offers.

  • Amazon Prime for Young Adult members who are at least 18 years old are also eligible for a FREE DashPass membership as long as your Amazon Prime account is active.

  • The offer is limited to one per customer and account and is non-transferable and may not be resold. See DashPass Terms.

  • Existing DashPass members are eligible for this offer as well. You may activate the offer on the Amazon DashPass Prime Offer landing page, connect your DoorDash account, and your DashPass membership will convert to the free membership at the start of your next billing cycle.
