Dasher Delivery Insights

Q: What are insights?
A: Insights are helpful tips that Dashers may use to improve their customer ratings. They may also celebrate streaks of positive outcomes for customers. Insights are based on customer experiences from a Dasher’s last 50 deliveries. Dashers will receive a push notification with these tips and can find additional insights in the Notifications section of the Dasher app.

Q: Why do I receive insights?
A: You will receive insights to either celebrate a streak of positive outcomes or helpful tips to improve outcomes for customers based on your last 50 deliveries. For instance, you may receive an insight that celebrates 50 consecutive on-time deliveries. You may also receive an insight that provides tips to help ensure customers receive their orders if multiple deliveries were reported as never delivered over your last 50 deliveries.

Q: Do insights impact my rating or ability to earn in any way?
A: Insights themselves do not directly impact your rating or ability to earn. However, the behaviors that result in insights could separately impact contract violations, ratings and rewards. Using these tips can help dashers avoid negative outcomes in the future.

Q: Can I dispute an insight?
A: Because insights do not directly impact dashing or result in any contract violation(s), there is no dispute process. Insights are meant to provide dashers with information and tips that can help lead to great outcomes for their customers.

Q: I got a push notification for an insight - where can I find it in the Dasher app?
A: You can access all your insights by navigating to the Notification Hub (bell icon on the dash screen of the Dasher app). You can review additional information by clicking on each individual insight.

Q: How can I use insights to help improve my dashing experience?
A: To help prevent delivery issues, you can use the ‘Helpful tips’ section by clicking into your insight notification. Note that constructive insights will be removed if there are no delivery issues over your last 50 deliveries.

Q: What period of deliveries do insights cover?
A: Insights cover your last 50 deliveries. You will not receive insights for deliveries made on an active dash.
