How do I troubleshoot my DoorDash website?

Use this step-by-step guide when encountering:

  • Browser errors

  • Signing in errors

Step-by-Step :Step 1: Restart the browser

  1. Open the browser menu.

    Windows: Click File within the top menu bar.

    Mac: Click the browser name on the top menu bar (top left).

  2. Quit the browser.

    Windows: Click Exit.

    Mac: Click Quit.

  3. Relaunch the browser by finding the application and double clicking it.

Step 2: Alternate the browser

Open a different internet browser to see if the issue is related specifically to the original browser the Customer was using.

Step 4: Clear cache and cookiesChrome:

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Locate the 3 stacked dots " " in the upper right hand side of the browser window and select History, then clear browsing data. 

  3. In the box that appears, click the check boxes for Cookies and other sites and data and Cached images and files.

  4. Use the dropdown at the top to select the amount of data that you want to delete.

  5. Click Clear browsing data.

  6. Ask the customer to restart their browser.  

Step 5: Confirm a stable internet connection

1. Directly Connected (Ethernet)

  • Check the ethernet cable to see if it connects completely within the computer's ethernet port.

  • Check the cable's connection to the router or modem to confirm it is also secure.

  • Check the Modem to confirm no red lights appear.

2. Connected Wirelessly (WiFi)

  • Check the wireless router and modem. Do all the right lights appear? You shouldn’t see any red lights. Try unplugging it and plugging it back in.

Step 6: Confirm the web browser is up to date

  1. PC/Mac:

    • On the top menu bar, go to the main menu and click About. The browser automatically checks for updates and prompts an update if necessary.

Step 7: Check third party extensions/programs

Third party browser extensions & programs sometimes prevent certain sites from loading properly.

  • Also check the permissions for any of these programs such as firewall software or extensions like Ghostery or uMatrix that tend to block important page elements, like a pop-up, on some pages.
