1. What is DoubleDash and how do I know if I can use it?

What is DoubleDash?
DoubleDash lets you shop from multiple stores in one order — with no additional delivery fee (service fee applies). Whether you want to add a sweet treat to your meal, are ordering for a group with different cravings, or need to get your grocery run done, DoubleDash helps you get everything in one order.

How does DoubleDash work?
You can DoubleDash in two ways, depending on where you are in your shopping journey:

  1. DoubleDash in the cart – pre-checkout

Step 1. Add items to your cart as usual

  • If DoubleDash is available, you’ll see recommended add-ons from nearby stores at the bottom of your cart in the “add items with no delivery fee” section

Step 2. Make your selections from the available items and stores

Step 3. Check out once — both baskets will be included with no additional delivery fee (service fee applies)

  1. DoubleDash after purchase – post-checkout

    Step 1. Add items to your cart as usual

    Step 1. Add items to your cart as usual

    Step 3. Select what you’d like to include

    Step 4. Confirm and checkout — the additional items will be bundled with your existing order with no additional delivery fee (service fee applies)

Can I add items from more than one store with DoubleDash?
DoubleDash currently supports adding one additional store to your original order. You can browse and add from eligible nearby stores, but only a single add-on merchant can be included per order.

When can I use DoubleDash — before or after checkout?
You can use DoubleDash both before and after checkout:

  • Pre-checkout DoubleDash is available while you're building your cart

  • Post-checkout DoubleDash becomes available immediately after placing your order, giving you up to 20 minutes to add more items

Where can I find DoubleDash in the app?
You can find DoubleDash:

  • Pre-checkout: On the cart page when ordering from restaurants or retail stores

  • Post-checkout: Right after submitting your order, in the DoubleDash bottom sheet, or from the homepage if you have an active order

Why don’t I see DoubleDash as an option?
If you’re not seeing DoubleDash options:

  • Try updating your app to the latest version

  • Try ordering from a different primary store

  • If DoubleDash disappears post-checkout, your time window may have expired

2. What does DoubleDash cost, and what benefits apply?Are there extra fees for using DoubleDash?

  • Delivery Fee: $0 for the second store

  • Service Fee: A small fee minimum may apply (typically $1.19+), but it is often reduced and varies by region

  • DashPass Members: Benefit from combined subtotal calculations

Do DashPass benefits apply to DoubleDash?
Yes, DashPass members still receive benefits like lower service fees and exclusive promotions on DoubleDash. Some fees may still apply depending on the total value of items.Can I use a promo code or coupon on a DoubleDash order?
Yes — promotions can be applied to your post-checkout DoubleDash cart if eligible. Availability may vary depending on the specific offer and merchant. Note that promotions do not currently apply to pre-checkout add-ons, and eligibility is determined at checkout.Can I DoubleDash from alcohol or grocery stores?
Yes. You can DoubleDash from a range of stores including:

  • Restaurants

  • Convenience stores

  • Grocery stores

  • Alcohol merchants (where legally allowed)

  • Retail stores

Availability may vary depending on your location and local regulations.

3. How do I manage and track my DoubleDash orders?How long do I have to add a DoubleDash order after I check out?
For most instances, you will have 15–20 minutes post-checkout to add on a DoubleDash order before the window closes.

Will my DoubleDash items arrive at the same time as my main order?
Most DoubleDash orders arrive at the same time as the main order from one Dasher. In isolated cases, the orders will arrive separately. While delivery by one dasher is prioritized, you may see two Dashers if batching your orders together isn’t possible or ideal for food freshness.

What happens if one of the stores cancels my order?
If one of the stores cancels, you will still receive the remaining part of your order unless both stores are canceled. You will not be charged for the canceled portion, and any applicable fees will be adjusted automatically. You’ll receive updates via the app and can reach out to Support for assistance if needed.

Can I make changes to my DoubleDash order after checkout?
Once a DoubleDash item is added and confirmed post-checkout, you cannot modify or remove it. If you need to make a change, you may need to cancel the order if it's still within the cancellation window, or contact Support for help.

Can I track my DoubleDash items separately?
Yes — DoubleDash items can be tracked separately in the app. If your order is being delivered by two different Dashers, you’ll see individual tracking updates for each delivery, including estimated arrival times and handoff status.
