How to Place an Order with DoorDash Drive On-Demand

How can I start a new delivery request?

Mx - Portal - Drive On-Demand
  • Sign in to the Merchant Portal

  • Under Channels, select Request a delivery

  • Enter pickup, drop-off, and scheduling details

  • Select Schedule delivery

How can I view my orders?

Mx - Portal - Orders
  • In the Merchant Portal, go to Orders

  • At the top of the page, choose a tab:

    • Active: Orders currently being prepared or delivered

    • Scheduled: Orders placed for a future time or date

    • History: Orders that have been completed

Each order includes key details such as customer name, order ID, subtotal, fulfillment type, and channel.

Order status

  • Scheduled: Booked for a future time

  • New: Recently received

  • In progress: Being prepared

  • Out for delivery: With a Dasher

Fulfillment details

  • Fulfillment status: Shows Dasher activity (for example, Dasher waiting)

  • Fulfillment type: Delivery or pickup

  • Channel: DoorDash, Online Ordering, or Drive On-Demand

You can also view orders in the Business Manager App and on your DoorDash Tablet.

How can I filter orders?

  • In the Merchant Portal, go to Orders

  • Select the tab you wish to filter orders in: Active, History or Scheduled

  • Above the list of orders you will see these dropdown options: All channels, Order status and Fulfillment status

  • Click the one you want to filter by make your selections

How can I search for an order?

You can search for an order by Order ID, Drive Order ID, Delivery UUID, Delivery ID, Customer Names, Dasher Names and Store Name.

  • In the Merchant Portal, go to Orders

  • Look for the magnifying glass icon above the active orders, on the right.

  • Use this field to input your search terms.

How do I leave Dasher feedback?

  • Go to Orders and select the History tab

  • Select the completed delivery

  • Click on Rate dasher

Your feedback helps us prioritize or block future Dashers for your store.

Where can I find order details and payouts?

  • Go to Orders and select the select the Active, History or Scheduled tab to sort orders.

  • Click on the order that you want to see more information about.

Here you will be able to see:

  • Customer and Dasher contact information

  • Pickup and delivery time estimates (in completed orders, the actual times)

  • Delivery address

  • Ordering channel and fulfillment method

  • Order and payment details

To see estimated payouts:

  • Go to Orders and select the History tab

  • Select the completed delivery

  • Scroll down to view your Estimated payout
