We know that you’re always looking for new ways to drive more direct orders. We heard you! Introducing: our new integration with Order with Google! 

Here’s how it works: For restaurants signed up for Storefront, customers already searching for food on Google Search and Maps will be able to find, order and reorder from your Storefront menu in just a few taps, thanks to the prominent “Order online” button now added to your Google Business Profile

Once a diner clicks the order online button, they can view your menu and begin adding items to their cart. From there, they can complete checkout without ever leaving Google. This seamless ordering and payment experience is likely to encourage repeat orders from customers. The best part: these are processed the same as all Storefront orders, which means they’re commission-free* for you.

What do I need to do?

  • Nothing—this integration is available to you by default if you have a Google Business Profile. If your profile is not set up yet, sign up for free here.

How much does it cost?

  • The integration is free! Like all Storefront orders, these orders have 0% commission and a 2.9% + 30 cent payment card processing fee.

How do I opt out of this feature?

  • You can opt out at any time by submitting this short form.

How does this impact my access to customer data?

  • For orders placed through this integration with Google, because these orders originate outside of your website, you will not receive customer contact information (email or phone number). However, if you need to contact the customer, we will provide a masked phone number that you can use to connect with the customer about their order. This phone number will be active until 30 minutes after the delivery.
