DoorDash provides professional photoshoots?
At DoorDash, we believe that high quality professional images can vastly improve the value of both our brand as well as your own. That is why we are happy to pay for a professional photographer to come to your restaurant and photograph some of your most popular dishes.
These images are yours to keep, we only ask that you don’t use the photos on any other third party delivery platforms. While you will be expected to cover the cost of the food photographed, DoorDash will gladly pay for the photographer’s services.
When booking your shoot please make sure to include the details for a point-of-contact at the restaurant during the shoot, including a cell phone number and email address, just in case we need to communicate any last-minute details or the photographer needs to reach you.

What costs will I be expected to Cover?
As the Merchant, you are expected to cover the cost of the food, and associated labor to make it. Although these costs can be significant for many dishes, this will be an investment in your business and drive more sales through Doordash.
Doordash will cover the photographer, and will take care of getting the photos up on your Doordash menu post-photoshoot. All you have to worry about is preparing your most delicious food!
How do I submit a Photos Support Case to request a photoshoot?
How many menu items can I have photographed?
DoorDash is happy to provide a photoshoot for our Merchants to get fantastic images for their menu. During this 1.5-hour session, the photographer will photograph up to fifteen items for your restaurant.The items that you choose to have photographed are up to you, but we recommend photographing your most popularly ordered items.
If you wish to take more photos beyond what DoorDash will pay for, you are free to set up arrangements for that, but any additional photos will not be covered by DoorDash.
Can I schedule more than one photoshoot?
If you’re looking to take more photos than would be possible in a 1.5-hour shoot, anything beyond this time will no longer be covered by DoorDash. Arrangements can be made with the photography company to get an additional photoshoot set up, but it would be outside of any agreement with DoorDash.

Can I get copies of my photoshoot images?

How do I submit a Photos Support Case?
My photographer never showed up.
While we do our best to avoid any situations like this, occasionally the photographer will need to cancel and is unable to get a hold of the business.
We would be happy to reschedule your shoot if it was cancelled or your photographer never showed up. Please submit a Photos Support case and let us know what happened and we will get that arranged for you.
Please do be sure to include a good email address and cell phone number (not the business phone) with your request so that we can ensure that situation doesn’t happen again.
How do I submit a Photos Support Case?
I don’t see my photoshoot images on my menu.
It can occasionally take us a bit longer than expected to receive the images from the photographer or there can be hiccups in our system, so if you don’t see your photos on your menu and it has been over a week, please submit a photos support case and we will look into the issue.
Once we have your photos, we’ll gladly link them for you and send you copies for your own use.
How do I submit a Photos Support Case?
I don’t like my photoshoot images.
Our photography vendors typically hire exceptional photographers; however, sometimes the images you get aren’t exactly what you were hoping for. If this is the case, we’d be happy to reschedule another photoshoot for you!
Please submit a Photos Support Case and let us know what happened. We’ll flag the issue to the vendor to avoid the issue in the future and get you set up with a new photographer.
How do I submit a Photos Support Case?
I requested a photoshoot but never got confirmation.
If you requested a photoshoot but haven’t heard anything back about it, please let us know. As soon as your request for a photoshoot is processed, you should receive an email asking you to submit your availability. It’s possible the email could have gone into your spam folder, so please check there.
If you didn’t receive anything in your inbox regarding your availability, please submit a Photos Support request and we will verify your contact information and troubleshoot what went wrong.
Once you’ve submitted your availability, your photoshoot is not yet scheduled until the photography vendor is able to find a photographer who is able to take the shoot during your availability. You should receive a second email confirming the date and time of your photoshoot. If you do not receive this email, please submit a Photos Support request and let us know!
I can’t download photos/open attachments.
We typically send the images from your photoshoot out in a ZIP folder attachment. On most mobile phones, it is not possible to open a ZIP folder. Please open the email and download the folder on your computer to access the images.
If you are using a PC:
Locate the ZIP file you want to open
Right click on the ZIP file and select “Extract All”
In the pop-up menu, select a location to extract the files
Once you’ve selected a destination, click “OK”
Finally, click “Extract” in the pop-up menu
If you’re using a Mac:
Locate the ZIP file you want to open
Double click the ZIP file
