DoorDash Merchant Portal - Security Terms

Effective Date: March 31, 2023

Access to the Merchant Portal, including any resources and APIs therein (collectively, the “Merchant Portal”), is restricted. By accessing the Merchant Portal, you agree that you are directly bound by these Terms, regardless of whether you are accessing the Merchant Portal as the agent or authorized representative of a merchant. You also agree that these Terms are binding on your successors, affiliates, subsidiaries, and assigns. These Terms shall supersede any other terms or agreements governing your access to the Merchant Portal.

You acknowledge that access to the Merchant Portal is restricted to merchants themselves. You further acknowledge access to the Merchant Portal by any third parties (including any agent or authorized representative of a merchant) through any means (including programmatic or bot access to APIs that DoorDash makes available to merchants) is prohibited.

Unauthorized access to the Merchant Portal compromises the security and stability of the Merchant Portal for everyone, including DoorDash, merchants, and authorized partners. Should you access the Merchant Portal (including any APIs made available to merchants through the Merchant Portal) without authorization, you acknowledge and agree that you shall be liable to DoorDash in the amount of $100 in liquidated damages for each unauthorized API call, which you agree is a reasonable approximation of the harm to DoorDash caused by the risks of instability brought about by unauthorized access to the Merchant Portal, among other harms, which are by their nature difficult to precisely ascertain.
