Reservation Terms and Conditions

These Reservation Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of reservation and related services offered by DoorDash (the “Services”) and form a binding agreement between you and DoorDash. “DoorDash,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean DoorDash, Inc., a Delaware corporation, and its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, including, without limitation, SevenRooms and the entities listed in the remainder of this paragraph. With respect to Reservations (as defined below) at Restaurants (as defined below) located in the United States (except for Puerto Rico, a United States territory), these Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DoorDash, Inc. With respect to Reservations made at Restaurants located in Puerto Rico, these Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DoorDash Technologies Puerto Rico, LLC. With respect to Reservations at Restaurants located in Australia, these Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DoorDash Technologies Australia Pty Ltd ACN 634 446 030. With respect to Reservations made at Restaurants located in Canada, these Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DoorDash Technologies Canada, Inc. With respect to Reservations made at Restaurants located in New Zealand, these Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and DoorDash Technologies New Zealand NZCN 8252064, a New Zealand company.

By using or accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as DoorDash’s Consumer Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy, which are incorporated herein by reference. If there is a conflict between these Terms and either the Consumer Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy, these Terms will govern with respect to the Services.

1. Overview

The Services allow you to make a reservation (“Reservation”) at a participating restaurant (“Restaurant”). Reservations may not be available in all markets, on all platforms, or to all customers. To use the Services, you must have an active DoorDash account. DoorDash reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Services, including available Restaurants, features, or content, at any time and without notice. Continued use of the Services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the modifications.

2. DoorDash Credits

You may be eligible to earn promotional DoorDash credits for completing Reservations. Eligibility and the amount of credits will be displayed at the time of booking, and whether a Reservation is deemed completed will be determined by DoorDash in its sole discretion. Credits are promotional and subject to expiration, have no cash value, cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash or any equivalent, are not intended as payment, are non-transferrable, can only be redeemed for future DoorDash orders, and will be issued in the currency of the country associated with your DoorDash account. The maximum amount of credits that may be earned is $600 per person per year. DoorDash’s Promotional Offers and Credits Terms and Conditions also apply. We may stop issuing credits or change how credits are issued for Reservations at any time.

3. Payments

Some Restaurants may require you to provide a payment method or prepay all or part of your dining experience when making a Reservation. By providing a payment method (which we may prefill from your DoorDash account), you authorize us to share it with the Restaurant and the Restaurant’s payment processor and authorize the Restaurant and/or processor to charge it for the applicable amount, including fees related to late cancellations or no-shows under the Restaurant’s policies. You are responsible for all other charges and fees associated with your dining experience. If you remove a payment method from your DoorDash account after using it to make a Reservation, you authorize the Restaurant to still charge it in accordance with this section. DoorDash is not responsible for payment-related errors by Restaurants or their processors. Any disputes related to charges must be resolved directly with the Restaurant.

4. Information Sharing

When you make a Reservation, you authorize us to share information about you with the Restaurant as necessary to facilitate your Reservation and personalize your dining experience, such as your name, contact information, whether you are a DashPass subscriber, and your order history from the Restaurant on the DoorDash platform. The Restaurant handles your information in accordance with its own privacy policy and is solely responsible for complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws.

5. Reservations and Confirmation

You may not be able to make multiple Reservations at or near the same time. A Reservation is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation through the Services or from the Restaurant. By making a Reservation, you enter into an agreement directly with the Restaurant, not with DoorDash. Restaurants available through the Services may be listed directly by DoorDash or through third-party booking networks. DoorDash is not responsible for Restaurants’ acts, omissions, services, policies, food, beverages, or other offerings. You acknowledge that Restaurant information (including menus, descriptions, hours, location, photographs, and videos) displayed through the Services may not be provided directly by the Restaurant and may be generated or enhanced with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Any disputes related to your dining experience must be resolved directly with the Restaurant.

6. Cancellations and No-Shows

You agree to comply with each Restaurant’s booking, cancellation, and no-show policies, which will be presented at booking. If no policy is provided, you must cancel at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the Reservation time. Failure to cancel in accordance with the applicable policy or these Terms, or failure to show up, may result in fees charged by the Restaurant and may also affect your ability to make future Reservations. Excessive no-shows may lead to suspension or termination of your ability to use the Services. All final determinations regarding no-shows and related fees are made by the Restaurant. If you disagree with a Restaurant’s determination regarding a no-show or cancellation, you must resolve the matter directly with the Restaurant.

7. Communications

You agree to receive Reservation-related communications from DoorDash and/or the Restaurant, such as confirmations, updates, and cancellations, via email or other electronic means. Message and data rates may apply.

You may also opt in to receive marketing communications from Restaurants. These marketing communications are from the Restaurant, not DoorDash. The Restaurant—not DoorDash—is responsible for obtaining and honoring any required consents, including opt-ins and opt-outs, and for complying with all marketing and electronic communication laws. DoorDash does not control or accept liability for any Restaurant marketing communications. To unsubscribe, follow the instructions in the marketing communication.

8. Usage Guidelines

When using the Services, you agree that:

(a) You will honor Reservation(s) you make, arrive on time, and pay your bill (to the extent you have not prepaid) at the Restaurant.

(b) You will not resell or transfer Reservation(s), make duplicate Reservations, make or cancel excessive Reservations, create multiple DoorDash accounts to circumvent limitations, or otherwise abuse the Services.

(c) You will not engage in disruptive behavior at Restaurants.

(d) You will not use any manual or automated tools, including bots, scrapers, or similar technologies, to copy, extract, or collect data from the Services, and you will not attempt to do so.

(e) You will not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code or underlying ideas of the Services.

(f) All information you provide in connection with a Reservation is accurate, current, and complete, and you are responsible for maintaining and promptly updating such information.

(g) You are responsible for use of the Services through your Account.

(h) A Restaurant’s policies, including its cancellation and refund policies, apply to all Reservations.

(i) Violations of these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your use of the Services and/or your DoorDash account.

9. Third-Party Services

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party platforms, including Restaurant booking systems. DoorDash does not endorse or control these third parties and is not responsible for their products, services, or policies. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, DoorDash disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free Services. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or other reasonable means. Your continued use of the Services after such changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your ability to use the Services at any time, including for violations of these Terms, excessive no-shows, or fraudulent activity.
