To use Ads Manager, you need access to a brand account. First-time users must be added by a DoorDash Account Executive or another user on the brand account. After you're added, you'll receive an email invitation to join.

What's available in Ads Manager

‎Ads Manager is organized into different sections that support a different part of your advertising workflow:

Dashboard

The Dashboard provides an overview of your business and campaign performance, along with brand and category insights. You can track campaign trends in near real-time with views of Total Sales or Total Units over time (including paid and organic data).

Use it to:

  • Track performance trends over time across your business

  • Compare performance across brands, categories, and competitors

  • Identify which retailers, segments, or time periods are driving growth

You can refine your view using filters such as date range, brand, and category to better understand performance across different dimensions.

Dashboard view is available to U.S. advertisers. Learn more about the Dashboard here.

Campaigns

The Campaigns section is where you create and manage your Sponsored Product and Sponsored Brand campaigns.

From here, you can:

  • Create new campaigns

  • Select products to promote

  • Organize products into ad groups

  • Set budgets, bids, and targeting

Catalog

The Catalog section shows all products associated with your brand that are eligible for advertising on DoorDash.

Use Catalog to:

  • Review product content (images, titles, attributes)

  • Confirm which items are available for campaigns

  • Identify gaps or issues affecting ad eligibility

  • Ensure products are properly linked to retailer listings

Your catalog must be complete and properly linked to retailer listings before you can run ads.

Settings

The Settings section allows you to manage account access and configuration.

From here, you can:

  • Add or remove users

  • Assign roles and permissions

  • Manage account-level settings

Complete your first setup tasks

‎Before launching your first campaign, there are a few key areas to set up in Ads Manager. These steps ensure your account is properly configured and ready to support campaign performance.

Review your catalog

‎Go to the Catalog section and confirm:

  • Your products are uploaded and visible

  • Product details (images, titles, attributes) are accurate

  • Items are linked to retailer listings

A complete and properly linked catalog is required to run ads on DoorDash. Only products that are available in the catalog and linked to retailers will be eligible for advertising.

Add or manage team members

‎Set up the right access for your team before launching campaigns.

In Ads Manager, you can add users and assign roles based on what they need to do — whether that's building campaigns, analyzing performance, or managing account settings. This ensures the right people can take action without impacting account security or billing access.

To get started, go to Settings and select Manage Users to:

  • Add new team members or agencies

  • Assign roles and permissions

  • Update or remove existing users

Only Admin users can manage account access and permissions. Learn more about managing your account access.

Prepare to launch campaigns

‎Clarify your campaign goal and which products you want to promote. Whether you’re driving sales, increasing visibility, or supporting a promotion, your objective will shape how you set up your Sponsored Product and Sponsored Brand campaigns in Ads Manager.

Once setup is complete, you can create and launch campaigns in Ads Manager. After launch, monitor performance and make updates over time to improve results, such as adjusting budgets, targeting, or product selection.
